Anyone going to A-Kon?

Of course, I know a couple members are but they can post here too.

aww, I wish I could go to A-kon. The only way I'll be there is in spirit, and in AMV form 01 and AMV form 02

Just got the 9th through the 11th off from work and Pre-registered

Alright!!....I'm one of the members DT was talking about. I have my plane ticket and will be registering tonight *if I don't get distracted and forget again*. I really hope we can meet up with you Saturday. It's going to be a fast trip, but tons of fun!!

Bob and I will be at A-kon!

You can pretty much catch us at any local convention: Comicon/Sci-Fi Expo,
AnimeFest, Wizard World, All-Con, KageCon and anything else we happen
to hear about.

I'll be there for at least part of the convention. Not sure how much time I'll spend though. Technically, my sister and I are going up to Dallas to visit my parents. It just happens that we're going the same weekend as A-kon.

ahhh - you make me so jealous! Living on an island in the middle of the ocean sounds nice most of the time, but I just die a little bit when I only have a single convention to go to...

Oh you're talking about THAT A-kon... the one where I'm supposed to pick DT and AO up at the airport and give them a place to stay... oh okay I'm with you now.

Oh and if we want to schedule a meet, that's fine if we meet up at the con somewhere but I really don't know about a lunch or a dinner since I'll have other people in tow.

EDIT: I chatted with AO this morning and she suggested that we meet after Vig Mignonga's voice actor panel. I think he's doing Full Metal Fantasy again! Whooot! How about we meet immediately after that? We can arrange exactly where and what we'll all be wearing when the date gets closer.

Well, Akon is this coming up weekend! Very exciting! I hope to bump
into some Beta and RS people. Since I don't know what anyone looks
like, just try to spot me (and avoid me! hehe). Look for the cute couple
(brown guy, white girl with long braid) wearing matching shirts. I'll probably
be elbowing people in the dealers' room and causing trouble.
