Ok so I could not keep from picking up a few more before AX.
Mainly due to Anime-link putting a cel I had my eye on and was planning to pick up at at Ax on sale now.
So I now have a cel of the third sister from the the Neoranga Op to complete the set. http://ryan.rubberslug.com/gallery/inv_ ... mID=166032

Lovely cel! I have really admired the art from that series, even though I don't collect it. It's a Studio Pierrot series, isn't it?
I didn't know about the sale so I rushed on over and found a cel I wanted (listed as a Miyu but really DML) and sent in a letter. I hope I get it as 30% off the price is not bad and I have found 0 cels of this character.
Cute Akane too!
I just posted a Tenshi ni Narumon opening cel last night.
I have to agree Vapalla -- I love that new TnN OP cel of yours. It is just so gorgeous!! I'm so happy to see it in your gallery. And, congrats on getting the Devil Lady cel from Link! I can't wait to see it up, too! *does happy dance*
Thanks Tex-chan! And the Devillady cel I'm getting has the long-sought-after MOTH GIRL! (has the lizard girl and a cool background too.)
Thank you too, Betty. The series is called I'm Going to be an Angel in English or Tenshi ni Narumon. I tried to find a site in Italian about it but failed. Here's a little information in english.
Once I receive my Anime Museum order and an auction win, I will have 250 entries in my gallery for the series! (obsessive, no?) I guess I need to throw a party or something...
I finally got the Nausicaa Reproduction cels I was searching for and they weren't too expensive at all!
Mandarake actually put them up and said there was damage on the box.
Looking at it, the 'damage' on the box was some worn edges...and the cels themselves are in great condition. A few have some paint worn off into the paper behind (rice paper I think?) but its very little and you cant see through the cels at all. The backgrounds are in excellent shape too.
I'm very happy to have found these and in such great condition. They are really nice, I think they would look amazing framed, repro or no.
I'm interesting in THIS Versailles no Bara cel, but the description talks about an abrasion.
There is the tranlated words (japanese -english):
A-13 Those with an animation ?? with animation tension.
Please understand beforehand that there is a case where there is an abrasion at the time of photography.
Although it has shone with vinyl or a digital camera, to an animation cel, it is convenient.
I don't see the abrasion. It's really something so wrong?
I lost the last auction. I would like to win this one. How much can be valutated this cel?
Betty, when the translation says 'abrasion' it means that the cel has some scratches on it or shows signs of its age.
This isn't the sort of word we use to describe cels but it is a direct translation
^__^
Judge the cel by looking at the picture, the seller wants you to understand that the image is not in 100% excellent condition.

This one is of Akane who while attempting to help Ranma perfect the anger spiral attack has her blouse catch fire so Ranma give her his jacket to cover. He then tells Ryoga that he had his way with her which gets Ryoga mad enough that he attacks Ranma with the anger enough to make the spiral attack work. The spiral attack collects and then reflects that anger back upon the attacker.
