"You Tube" video clips

Post by Keropi »

Does anyone know of any good "You Tube" videos or anywhere else for that matter?

Someone gave this Gunkata link a long time ago. It's pretty fun to watch:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tINWl0gz ... ch=gunkata

I got this To Heart 2 link on our mailing list and I got a laugh out of it. I think it's more funny if you're familiar with the background on the pink haired girl (?Ruuko) \o/:

Some of my personal favorites -

Stephen Colbert at Chevy Chase's Roast.... sooo brutal X| Image

Invader ZIM vs. Rob Zombie's "Scum of the Earth" AMV ImageImage

and finally,

New Haka (New Zealand vs. South Africa 2005)
New Zealand rugby team's pre-game psychout Haka warrior chant. Great stuff - very inspirational. Image

Since I'm watching world cup right now, might as well post the two best goals of the series so far...

Maxi Rodriguez hits a once in a lifetime trap and goal for Argentina

David Beckham gets his first goal of the cup, and it's a beauty of a free kick

Interesting rationalization. My favorite show is Star Trek.

Bri, excellent choices, but I beg to differ. Cole's goal against the Swedes is the best goal:

Thought about that one. Cole's shot was just as long as Maxi's, but here's my rationale...

1. Both Beckham's and Maxi's goals were game winners.

2. The goalie did not get a hand on either of their goals, while Cole's was almost deflected.

3. Both Beckham and Maxi were in situations where they were defended better(Beckham had a penalty kick and Maxi shook off a guy to get his).

4. Beckham's wife is hot. :love2

LOL...i could have conceded the prior 3, but not number 4. He could have done soooooo much better IMHO! :?

Actually, Maxi's goal was closer to the box than Cole's. Cole's goal was about the same distance as Beckham's. I like the fact the goalie got a hand on it and still couldn't do anything about it, but you're right, it wasn't a game winner.

BTW, Argentina v. Germany should be fun. :D

Have you guys seen the Gun Musashi anime? The story was by Monkey Punch. It's about an alternate world were Miyamoto Musashi was a pistol wielding expert instead of an expert swordsman. Musashi's character in the anime is similar to Lupin's. The animation is pretty crazy. Some people think the anime so "bad" that it's a deliberate parody. They used some of the most stick-out, out of place CG backgrounds that I've ever seen.

Check out these out. They had me ROFL. They showcase the lunacy that is Gun Musashi:

Reminds me of another (in)famous Bebop-style crossover intro:

Some of these AMV editors are very talented. :o

I hadn't seen that video before. That was pretty nice. Judging from the dates on the videos it seems like that's where the Gun Musashi video creator got his inspiration from.

Kittens post about the video showing the cats carrying the fish reminded me something. It's the "Densha Otoko Investigation". They did a test in the Akihabara district to see how many "otaku" would "save" a woman from being harassed by a guy:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3sXYOyI ... ha%20otoko

Of course they did this back when the Train Man story was very popular. Who knows what the results would have been if none of these guys had even heard of it. :shrug
