well, since I have never had a chance to go to AX (hopefully, one day, soon), I had to console myself with 5 new cels from Galatea / Summfox / Jennifer (depends on how you know her ^__^). The cels just arrived, and since she still had the scans available, it was easy-peezy for me to update my site

So, without further adieu, my new cels!

sidenote to anyone who went to AX --> did anyone see any bubblegum crisis 2040 cels at all? I get all these wonderful tales from Baakay et al saying that there were gorgeous pancels for the series back in '03 and I'm jealous... So, any reports? Anyone?

thanks! the pancel was difficult for me to decide to buy - I kept flip-flopping on it and finally, decided it was going to be MINE! Now, to figure out how to store it...

Lovely new cels - you picked a great way to console yourself.

The pancel of Linna is gorgeous as is the cel of Sylia. Congrats on all the new items - great update!

Wonderful update!! I just love the artwork from this series, and browsing your gallery is always so much fun. You have a magnificent collection, and it just gets better and better.

I especially love the Priss cel, and that Linna pancel. Wow! Those are so gorgeous. I also love the Sylia that you added. The colors in that one are really beautiful.

Congrats on your new additions!

I'm happy for you, Buma, those are marvellous acquisitions! Respect to Galatea for parting with them

Can't say I have a favourite shot out of those because they all stand out in their own way, but the biker image is nice because Priss has beautiful eyes and the desaturation of colour through the visor looks awesome.

Bubble Gum Crisis/crash etc seems to be a popular series among cel collectors/anime fans in the UK, that's merely an observation.

vampyreshoujo --> yesh, consoling was required as I heard that AX 06's dealer room was twice as big this year! And check another fan of the pancel!

Galatea <-- IT'S HER FAULT! SHE MADE ME BUY THEM!! j/k --> Yesh, I love them immensely! They will be crown jewels of each section that I have on the girls! Thanks so much for passing them onto me - they will be much loved in my collection!

tex-chan --> Thanks for the great comments! When I first started, I exclusively collected from just BGC2040, so it sorta made a lot of cel-buying decisions easy (if it wasn't BGC2040, I just didn't buy it). I could concentrate on getting the choice cels as I really didn't have much else to compete with my cel-spending fund. Now, however, with a bunch of others that I started to buy, it's getting harder and harder, I just have to remember to keep my first love a priority and get those cels when they do appear. Oh, and the colors on that Sylia cel are even better in person!!!

kira --> thanks! Kudo's actually should go to Galatea (^^point above^^) as she's the one who did all the hard looking, searching and buying (I just got them all from her). I just consider myself lucky that she did feel the need to 'share the wealth' so to speak

majinuub --> that seems to be the running favorite so far

Krafty --> Woot - Biker Priss! Being a biker myself, I can understand her attraction (although it seems that the other characters seem to be gathering speed too in the collectors out there). And yes, I noticed that the UK collectors have been beating me to the punch a lot in the past (for all three series of BGC)... But I know even if they do, they go to good homes (that I hope to eventually pry some away from them in the future

)

Nene --> Yes, that sort of finally sold me on the cel. I just couldn't pass up 'the total package' of Linna getting into her hard suit for the first time - I knew I'd just kick myself over and over again if I did...
