Kittens post about the video showing the cats carrying the fish reminded me something. It's the "Densha Otoko Investigation". They did a test in the Akihabara district to see how many "otaku" would "save" a woman from being harassed by a guy:

Of course they did this back when the Train Man story was very popular. Who knows what the results would have been if none of these guys had even heard of it. :shrug
I've never heard of the train story, but man, those guys suck running away. Image After 4 guys not helping, I love that 1st guy that actually tried to help :)

Run...run man, RUN away with the girl!!!! Image

Ok, so this isn't a YouTube video. Still, I love this mock commercial because I HATE those PC/MAC ads they are running on TV trying to make MAC more appealing to trust fund hippies who are scared to download music for free. MAC sucks, get over it. PC's do everything that a MAC does, only faster and for less money.

For the most part, I agree. One of the responses to the video actually summed it up quite well. "Mac is easier to some people, but to others it is like alien technology. I’ve never had trouble getting a PC to do anything a MAC can do, though. And we all know that there are plenty of programs with no MAC version."

That being said, I have done my fair share of editing with Final Cut which truly is a hell of a lot easier (and cheaper) than Avid. The thing with Macs isn't so much with the software as much as it is with the system itself. I humbly submit the following as an excellent break-down of why sometimes using Macs can be frustrating, esp. laptops (but hey, at least they don't spontaneously combust).

PC: Have you ever heard of "You shut"?
Mac: No, what is that? Some "PC" program that competes with Mac?
PC: No. You shut the f*ck up, you pompous prick, or I'll shove this iPod up your ass.

Thanks for posting that, BH.

I've always gotten a laugh watching this vid about two brothers trying to take a pic for Mother's Day.

1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.

I hope they do a good job on the remake. Kanon had the potential to be as good as Air (and let me tell you, I love Air  )

David Hasselhoff's latest music video: Jump in my Car
...... Why? Whyyyyyyyy???

You'd think I would've learned my lesson with his other video, but, noooooo, I just had to click on the link. Image

At least his other video was funny in a corny way. This one is just... creepy. And wrong. Creepy and wrong. X|
