Just some random thoughts...

I don't have a problem with Saki and Kazuma hooking up - she'll be Kyo's foster-step-mom.

Ritsu is kind of busy with Shigure's editor - Mii-chan. Although who'll wear the Uchikake in that wedding is a toss-up.

And give a little credit to Akito for finally tearing down the Cat's house - and now she can get hit by the train.

Yuki and Machi are definitely a couple, he's about to tell her his deep dark secret. And I think they are two of a kind, both emotionally damaged by uncaring parents. I always thought Tohru and Kyo were a better match because they were both raised by doting single parents.

The only two who don't seem to have a love interest is Momiji and Kagura...

But that's just so she can stuff Kyo in one of those little pet carriers instead.

Lynxa... I'm looking forward to your reaction when the manga is over...

DT: I don't think that Yuki can't be with Tohru because she's like a mother-figure. He says himself (don't remember which chapter, but somewhere around volume 15) that he thought that he loved Tohru like a girlfriend but then came to understand that he saw her as a mother-figure. So it's more that he understood that he loved her in a different way. I hope that came out right...

i'll have to go through and read these. so far behind.

if you want the volumes from chapter 1 go to stop tazmo. there only up to chapter 115 over there i think.

i read vol 13 then skipped up to the chapters where it flashbacks to tohru's mom and dad. so yeah, i need to read some of these volumes.

I love Frutis Basket too, but I'm buying the manga and I've only just finished vol 9 (like chapter 53 or so i think).

I strongly disagree with scanlations, so I won't be reading them as they come out in Japan.

Can you please use the Spoiler tag? I'd like to discuss too, but I avoid the thread because I don't want to ruin it when I do get to read it.

Just in case you might be interested, text-only chapter summaries can be found here. They're still a little ahead from what's been put out in English, but maybe you'll be interested in taking a look when the US volumes catch up?

I've never been much into reading, but just noticed this thread and had to ask.....so the story of FB continues pas the tv series? Are the manga in america caught up and past the tv series? Is it just the japanese manga that are ahead? I have so many questions. So so many questions...and still don't have my first genga set from the series yet.

I may be tempted to start reading manga if I know the story continues and gets good. I LOVED Jelenity's image on her site. Just awesome!
