Moving sale (Also, getting married) *UPDATE*

Post by Sugarflower »

Yes that's right! We will be moving! Well, at least we are 99% positive we will be moving soon. :emb My fiance and I will be heading back to my homestate this weekend for job interviews. If all goes well we should be moving by the end of August or early September.

I've relisted a few cels that need homes along with many Irwin DBZ action figures. I love my figures but have decided to downsize my collection alot. *squeezes her DBZ figures* We still have many boxes of items (mainly Star Wars) sitting around here that I hope to place on auction when we get back from our weekend trip.

Take a look if you are interested.

Oh! Forgot... :P
We have also decided to tie the knot while on our little trip this weekend. We have a good friend who is a church leader so he agreed to do the ceremony for us. I always imagined having a wedding on a tropical island somewhere but a quickie wedding is ok I guess since alot of things have been happening this year. There's always a chance for one of those 'second weddings' sometime in the future right? :)

How cool is that?!? I've never heard of a scratch-proof ring, I didn't know you did such things Robo! And seriously only yesterday me and my fiance went ring shopping for our wedding rings. We're still on the hunt for him though, I got mine yesterday (after changing my mind several times on different rings).

Since this was a spur of the moment decision for us we haven't even bought wedding rings yet. 8O We've been together almost 4 years. We never really set a wedding date after he gave me my engagement ring last year. I guess we just decided to wing it. :P

I'm a very simple lady. Never really cared for jewelery, lol, guess that's good for him. So we decided to just get simple gold bands. I didn't know they made rings scratch proof either! I'll talk to him tonight about the rings when he gets home from work. :)

Woohoo sooooo happy to hear you're tying the knot, Kris! :)

And hey, you can always go to that tropical island for the honeymoon, right? Hehe.

Best of luck with everything including the job. Go get 'em. ;)

We just received a phonecall today letting us know that Peter (my husband) got the job he was interviewed for. So in about 3 weeks or less we will be moving. I never had a chance to be interviewed for the job I was applying for due to the manager being out of town that weekend, so I hope when we move the position will still be open or I'll just sign up with the job service in that area.

I plan to post some pix of our little wedding ceremony but it may have to wait until after we move. Most of the pix are with my dad or our friend since they took most of the photos with their cameras. We do have just a few from our camera but they didn't turn out well since our friends wife didn't know how to use our camera. X| Now that our main computer is up and running again I will try to touch up the nicer photos we do have in Photoshop. There were alot of blurry ones unfortunately. :l

Thanks so much to all of you for your kind compliments. I'll keep you updated.
