I just kinda fast forwarded through episode 80 I admit since the whole "bound thing" I've found myself a lot less interested, but I did like the fact that Ishida was in the spotlight a bit more (although he seems to be playing more of the "damsel in distress" lately 
)

I believe this entire filler arc can be summed up in a Simpsons quote from one of their Halloween specials.
BART:
"We come now to the final and most terrifying painting of the evening. To even gaze upon it is to go mad."
He points to a picture of dogs playing poker. Homer is looking at it.
HOMER:
"Aah! They're dogs... and they're playing poker!" (screams and runs off)

And you guys have effectively talked me out of even beginning to watch Bleach at least until it is completely released and I know which big clumps of episodes I can just skip over.

Just stop watching when they leave Soul Society (around episode 65). Then it's PERFECT.Then start watching at episode 79 so you can read the screencaps and laugh your ass off at how lame the show has gotten.

OH SWEET SUFFERING SUCCOTASH.

God.
I don't know that I have EVER seen ANYTHING as poorly executed as the first half of episode 88. What a great steaming pile of poo that was.
Yes, I downloaded it when, last week? whenevertheheck it came out. (I've spent so much time staring at this screen in the last week that they days all bleed together). And it sat there. Kinda... festering. So I figured I really HAD to watch it.
Not only are there these big chunks of dead airtime with not even a merciful background noise or anything (I swear we would have heard it if someone's digestive system had complained in the studio) -- not only THAT, but the drawing is PITIFUL! There are a couple of moments where I'm thinking "ok, they put out a secret call on the Shonen Jump site for kids to send in their favorite sketches of Ichigo and Chad." And then, because they all were so bad that there wasn't any choice but to pick the best-of-the-worst, they kept them on screen, static, for three times the normal cut.
Horrible.
The only thing I can say in its defense is that it did at least get less repugnant during the second half.

I just downloaded 89 and i am woundering if i should watch it? The show is just going too slow and Ichigo is kinda weak at the moment I think i may save them up for a few weeks then get it over with in 1go, but then agian i said the same about Naruto and now i have 20+ eps to watch and i just cannot be bothered when there are so many others i can watch.
