Ebay is starting to mutter about cracking down on people who sell things for 99-cents but charge shippig of $100, hence avoiding fees.
But I noticed a new one during the listing-sale period. Somebody basically put up about 50 dummy ("undifferentiated") auctions, I guess to get in before midnight, with a dummy bid price of over a hundred dollars, and then started going in later on to revise them and put in all the specific information. Cagey. I guess he/she overestimated, though, because there are still about 30 of those sitting there. So, in this case he/she lost about $6 on those.
Still, it's a good idea, if you know what you have to put up, the deadline is approaching, and/or your computer or Turbolist is being balky!
