Japanese Newtype magazines

Post by klet »

I bought a set of four Japanese language Newtype magazines a while back, and I only really wanted one. So, I'm going to be selling the other three soon, and I need to know a few things so that I can best advertise these things.

I guess I just really want to know about the inserts. Obviously, the mag is more valuable and more likely to sell if it has all the inserts included, but I want to make sure that I'm not telling people they are when they aren't.

So, does every Newtype mag come with a poster? I've got one that specifically says something on the cover about including Christmas cards (which are in there) but nothing about a poster.

Any other info about Japanese Newtypes would be appreciated. I know someone out there must have one or two . . . I'm not the only crazy one trying to collect all the merchandise from a particular series, am I? :hurt: :D

Furoku items vary by month. I do believe that every Newtype comes with a poster, though.

If you're going to sell these on eBay, the best way to go about it would be to simply list what each one has. That way you won't be liable if it isn't complete. All the ones I've ever purchased came with a poster and at least one more item: clear files, postcards, bags, stickers...stuff like that.

Thanks Rei! I appreciate the info. I think some of the mags are missing stuff . . . Oh well. I got them for pretty cheap, anyway.

Thanks also to the lovely chick who sent me a pm about this. You gals rock!
