RalphVboy that's a great Hisoka! I wish h always wore his hair down like that.

Handsome king kageneko. I love his coloring, and even though I don't collect FY, I enjoy checking out cels from the series, they are so attractive.

I just posted a new TnN of Mikael & Raphael.

Got a smallish update up this week, the most interesting being a set from Takashi Nakamura’s ambitious anime film A Tree of Palme (2001). Probably the most intense is this cel of the bloodied android Palme

Also, a pretty, expressive Hyper Police cel of Human Natsuki at a critical moment in the final episode.

Also, MKR and HP gengas and a new gallery with a couple of sketches from the yoshitoshi ABe series NieA_7. Stop by when you have a chance.

Ralph, the Hisoka cel looks impressive, that sly smile of his is a real trademark.
Kageneko, the King cel is intense and the red outfit adds to this feeling.
Sensei, nice Natsuki. I've not seen her human form [if I have I didn't recognize it as her] and I agree with your description that the douga is great too. Took a look at the NieA 7 too, the subtle expresions are so well executed in Abe's work that they make such endearing characters.
Mamo, so you'te collecting SFAlpha too?! It's a good Ryu cel to begin with, I also like his character and design in this Street Fighter incarnation. Best of luck with your growing collection.

I've been keeping up with your updates, Vapalla, so many juicy images to aborb on each visit!
The Platinum Hugen Ordian cels have been compelling me for some time and your latest ones are great. Think I like the Nell one best, her blue hair and yellow eyes make for a vivid combination.

Today I was buying some Ordian cels from AWS on YJ. They have been relisted over and over for months but thought it was time to snap them up since I recently won a Ninja Scroll cel from them.
Bought a couple [via BIN] but there was one I REALLY wanted for the orange lighting conditions. Just went to grab it and when I clicked the button, instead of the typical 'congratultions, you've bought this item' page I got a message saying that the item has already ended!!

Someone actually beat me to it at that very same moment, the setup I had been delberating over for MONTHS! LOL if I didn't think the coincidence was so absurd I would cry.

Got a few anyway along with these:

Setup of the Catgirl, Pink from Dragon Pink

Burn Up Scramble OP genga

Image

Six cheapies from The Hakkenden- I just love the bloke in the first two cels, that first image looks so life-like. It's also apparent how the visual styles changed during the series as 2 or more production companies worked on it.

Image

Does anyone know what series this group comes from? I know I've seen the guy in the green jacket on somebody's RS site but I recall where...
That first cel of the eyes drew me in and I had to win this auction, I'm sure you can understand :^^:

Image

Lastly I won a couple of copy settei from Night Shift Nurses. It's an adult anime so it's got girls standing around with little nurses hats on and little else, *pfffft*
One annoying thing was that I got caught up in the bidding for one set without realising that I've already got one! That's another $90 down the drain. Wish I could relist it myself on YJ...

Wow, Krafty! What a great new haul, as always. I always look forward to seeing new stuff go up in your gallery.

I added in a couple of new things tonight. One of them is a big wishlist item for me, and I still can't believe I was lucky enough to purchase it.

Aya Pan Cel (Weiss OVA)

Correction Genga (Gensoumaden Saiyuki)

Glad you liked the PHOs krafty! I don't call that show a psychodrama for nothing! The cels are positively operatic! Glad you are finally getting a few (though sadly not the one you wanted most).

Your other additions are very cool too.

You catgirl collection is expanding nicely with your Dragon Pink addition. Crazy eyes!
Your The Hakkenden collection just keeps getting better, and the mystery cels are very interesting especially the close-up. I hope someone identifies them soon.

Tex-chan CONGRATULATIONS! I know you were expecting a special cel, and that Aya must be it! You must have the best Aya collection ever!
The Sanzo is extremely nice too and a prized image!

Thanks, Vapalla! *hugs*

You're right -- the Aya was the very special cel I was anxiously awaiting. I'm so in love with it!!! I still can't believe it's in my gallery.

The Sanzo was a really great surprise find on ebay. I had been looking for a genga from that particular OP sequence for a while, without much luck, although I had found dougas. I was so happy to see him up on ebay with a BIN! :)

*Mwah* Count this as a double post ;)

I'd edit it to include stuff I've won over the last 2 days but it's not worth it.
Suffice to say- 1 Guyver OP setup of Sho transforming into The Guyver,
and a JoJo's Adventure cel setup of Star Platinum.

That's one monster of a fangirl rant on the Aya pan cel, Tex ;)
I'm glad you were able to acquire this beast- almost 20" is a great size for a vertical pan.

The detail that catches my eye most on your Sanzo sketch is his right hand grasping his left arm. His fingers look good and I like the linear shading of his gloves- very graphical.

Thanks for taking a gander at my newest additions, girls. I'm hoping to get an ID for those three at the bottom soon. I'll run through RS while I'm at it...
Reminds me- I'll have to update my TnN cel with your accurate info, Vapalla! Thanks again for the description!

Thanks Krafty! Yeah ... sometimes, the luv gets me a bit carried away. *nervous laugh* It's pretty exciting to add such a big wishlist item, though. :P

I love that hand detail on Sanzo, too. I think it's one of the things that really "makes" that pose. But, overall, it's a really powerful image. That comes across a little bit in the douga, but I think it's much, much more obvious in the genga.

Oooh! Guyver cels! I recently watched that show, and loved it. Can't wait to see the new stuff. I was thinking the guy in the green jacket, from your unidentified cels, looked like one of the guys from Spriggan (the French guy, but I'm blanking on his name) -- mainly because of the jacket and the way his hair looked from behind. But, none of the other cels look like Spriggan, so I think my guess is way off the mark. Good luck on getting them identified!
