Cel collecting is a life long hobby tho, so you will be able to obtain all of
your wishlists someday, I'm sure. Just stay positive and study hard.
The school work will pay off in the long run and you'll be a better, more
enriched person for it.

Yes! I feel your pain. (not about the books, I traded for my Ripped Abs Ichigo)

It hurts incredibly some times when you have to part with a favorite.

(but yes, I'm able to console myself by geeking out over what I got for it.)

Hang in there girl! You are awesome and school is the best thing you can do for yourself right now, it is the best way of gaining independence! I am steadily discovering this ^.^ I am so sorry about your cel, often I feel it will eventually come down to selling my collection and we all hope it doesn't...but you know, many collectors sell some of their cels and then manage to get them back in the future! So chin up!

It is a great pan cel, I feel your pain

But on the bright side your books are going to help you a lot and when you finish your studies and get a good job you'll be able to get other dream cels and Im sure one day you gonna find your Aki again.

What stinks the most about this is that textbooks are such an incredible sinkhole... How very often we get to the end of the semester and find that "oops! there's a new edition coming out next fall, so we can't give you anything for your old one!" Lousy.

-- and yes. I've bought a textbook or five (hundred) in my day.

On the other hand, everything they've said is true. You seriously don't want to be without *at least* a Bachelor's degree in this day and age, and if you can manage a Master's or two on top of that, all the better. The competition for decent jobs is just too great, and other nations do a much better job of generally educating their population than we do. Any advantage you can give yourself is to be leapt upon with flare and noise.

It's just painful getting there, and wow, what a hard thing to do. *hugs*
