A well thought out decision

After doing much thinking the past few weeks,
and speaking with another collector, I have decided
to stop cel collecting. Well, random cel collecting
anyway.

I have totally re-vamped my wishlist. At the moment,
there is only Bleach, Hikaru No Go, Inuyasha and Naruto,
but I will be adding more down the road for other series
that I am wanting.

So, if you see any of these things, please let me know.

Now, the reason I am posting, is because I am going to
sell off the rest of my things, and there are quite a few
things, I must say. Believe it or not, it includes some
Hikaru No Go Sai and also some Kyuuzo from Samurai 7.

But, I have decided that I would rather go with cels that
have a meaning for me instead of everything that looks
good at the time. Take my word for it, this will be very
very difficult for me.

As you all know, finding exact wishlists can be few and
far between, so I won't be adding very much to my collection
I am sure, but the ones I do add will be items I really really
want. If there is anything in my gallery you may want
please make me an offer. Things that don't sell, will be
heading to either Japan or eBay.

Please keep in mind that some of these things I paid alot
of money for, so I am hoping not to loose my shirt, though
I am sure I will loose my fair share.

I posted in your RS weblog, but I just wanted to pop in here and wish you lotsa luck in your offers/sales. And, to say, again, how much I luv 'ya and how much I admire you as a collector. You are one of those collectors who added a lot to this hobby for me, and I will always appreciate and admire you for that, as well as for your incredible taste in artwork and your beautiful gallery -- which will be even more beautiful now that you've decided on the proper direction for you and your collection.

Although it makes me sad to think of not seeing you around as much, I'm really excited for you, as you're giving yourself the opportunity to build something that will make you truly happy for all time. That's such a cool thing!

The bottom line is that you should do whatever is necessary to make yourself happy. After all, hobbies are supposed to be lotsa fun, and I can't think of anyone who deserves all the best things more than you do! *hugs*

Well Pu -- Gonzai I know that this is going to be a painful process in thinning, but I admire your fortitude in doing so.

Now, after you get done, can you tell me how to do it?

Kay - I am not sure how much resolve I will have, but
I am certainly going to try. I have already deleted all
my favorites from my computer, and I haven't broke
out in hives yet.

Thanks for helping out Sparta!! I will package up the
cel and get it sent out to you first thing tommorrow.

Aernath, I wish you luck on changing your collecting
habits as well. I know this won't be easy, but at least
you are trying.

And hey - I picked up 3 wishlists in less then a month, so
you just never know, right??

Thanks for the well wishes Kira. I am hoping it will make
me a little more content with my collection. Baylor totally
understands how up and down I have been with my collection
as of late.

Joost - Thanks for the kind words. I have found cel collectors
to be the greatest thing about this hobby. So many people
helping others spend all their money - what could be better, right??

Lots of things are still up for offers. I have definately taken
a loss on some things, but it hasn't been that bad. I just
hope everyone enjoys these more then I was. They all
deserve to go to better homes.

I think we all know if a cool Ichigo Hanken comes along aernath will rush right in there and scoop him up, but then agian no 1 loves him more than she does so I believe she deserves them good luck trying to cut back. I know it will be hard
