My guess would be when he realizes the dragon has been called and is flying at full force from the eldest nameks place to where krillin and gohan are.

He had the Namekian Enchiladas plate #2 last night, now he is paying for it this morning!

Been so long I have no real idea, but with the scouter on could it be seeing someones (Goku's) power level?

Oh, I think I know, he is flying to where Gohan, Vegeta and Krillin are upon realization that they have beaten 'his superior Ginyu Force' and isn't too happy about it. Full of rage in that scene.
