Gundam Wing OPs & EDs

So I've been rewatching GW lately. I have to say I love both of the OPs. However, I hate and I mean HATE the ED. What does Relena playing with animals have to do with the storyline? Could someone please explain this? I've always hated Relena. I never could see why Heero liked her so much but she did somehow make him happy so it's all good. But I find myself not being able to grab the remote fast enough to skip the ending credits.

OH, and if you're a Relena fan, please don't be afraid to post here. I'd probably get along with you great because we're not competition for cels.

I sooo agree with you, both OP's are great and the songs were perfectly chosen for them... but as soon as the episode was over I just had to skip the tape to the next episode.

Relena get on my nerves

and that ED is as silly as she is. It would've been nice to see one of those animals bit her head off or the elephant sitting on her

I'm so glad I'm not alone. I could never figure out why Relena's on an African safari.

*phew!* I just figured I was missing something and that Relena on Safari was something important that I just didn't get!! Gooooooood. I'm not losin' it. (Well, at least not about THAT anyway!

And the OP song is indeed a jivey little tune... Gundam Wing was actually the first set of discs that I owned that had all the OP and ED stuff included, and my husband thought the OP music was completely GOOFY. (He is definitely NOT into anime!) Every time I'd start a new episode, he would do a goofy jivey Brady Bunch-type dance in the hall!

So he kinda ruined it for me! hahaha.

Im still wondering why she was ever included in the cast of GW

It's been a long time since I last watched GW, I guess as soon as I have some free time I'll watch it again

don't worry Shellie, that was the first pop cd I ever bought in my life (the double cd of Two-Mix with the op's and end's)

I would always skip past or not watch the ending b/c it didn't make sense and I don't care for Relena either.
