Maybe he's trying to hold it
up... I think it's slightly better than the alternative (hands not sewed down) where Kenpachi's arms would look like he was trying to give everyone a hug all of the time.

Anyway, ten years later, I finally sat down to watch Bleach filler, but I think reading the negative commentary on various message boards already spoiled me. I got through two episodes before I started skipping to the end to watch the Shinigami's Cup. Man, I want some nice person to give
me free food all the time... *points at avatar*

The ending song might be good, but I can't tell because the imagery keeps scarring me (If you misread that as "scaring," that works too).
