Okay, so! I was bored one night and was listening to Radio-I. I don't typically listen to that station because most of the stuff they play is Western music. I'd rather hear a nice mix of Japanese and Western stuff, like Zip FM plays. Anyway, the other night they played a really catchy, rock, boarderline heavy metal song. I tried to remember as much of the lyrics as I could and listened carefully to the DJ once the song was over... The song turned out to be one of Lost Prophet's newer songs, "Rooftops".
Then, like most music I take a liking to, I went to look around for more of their stuff. The album Liberation Transmission is REALLY good. There's only one or two songs on the CD that's a bit too heavy for me, but they're okay, depending on what mood you're in. The rest of the songs are REALLY good with some really catchy melodies. The lyrics are kinda dark and angsty that I like. ^^;;
Then I went to check out another of their albums, Start Something, and....... I didn't like it nearly as much. Just about all of the songs on that album are HEAVY metal and lack the really catchy melodies that I liked on the LT album. Sad. Maybe their style was a bit different than their usual sound? Dunno...
But still, I'd recommend this CD if anyone likes Rock/Heavy/Hardcore type music. ^^; At least give "Rooftops" a listen!! =) They actually have it playing on their Myspace page... haha

How do you plan to do this?

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

I liked their previous CD so I will definitely have to go buy this one. I got into Lost Prophets and Breaking Benjamin at the same time. (i just picked up BB's new cd last night)
Thanks for the heads up. The radio station out here is really bad at playing a variety of new stuff, so I didn't know that they had a new CD out.

Always good to know people are getting into Rock/Metal music; listening to the radio will give you a distorted view of what types of music are out there.
It's good to do some exploring for yourself. MySpace is a good way to do this nowadays- check through the various band's Friends list for some awesome music/links.

Well, it's just interesting to me because I don't typically like this sort of music. I guess I just have a lot of surpressed anger deep inside me, eh? heh Give me a good melody, no matter the genre, and I'll like it.
I really enjoyed tonight's Hyde concert, too... Really made me want to dress in BLACK!! lol
