Pictures of our 8 dogs

Post by wELCOME cONSUMER »

Finally got around to taking some pictures of our 8 dogs. It's not easy
to get them all to settle down at the same time, so please excuse the lack
of stellar quality.

You can see the pictures in our RS photo album
Click the pictures to see larger versions.
If anyone cannot view them, please let me know.

They are all outside dogs, most were rescues/strays we've taken in.
The names are listed roughly in order as they appear in the photo album.

The smallest dog is Muffin. She acts so tough, she thinks she's a big dog. There was an unusual lump that was growing on her head when we found her. The vet had to remove a lot of liquid, might've been from a blow to her head.

Mona resembles a fox. She's insanely hyper, jumps very high and loves to dig. Mona sits and sleeps on top of her dog house. We rescued her when she was young, other dogs were picking on her terribly.

Maggie is the largest dog we have, like a big fat cow! hehe. She's a choco-lab and a total dumbass sometimes, but I love her a lot. hehe

Her brother is Louie, a very jealous dog. He barks when the others receive attention.

Lolo is part German Shepherd. She's my new dog and I adore her  She snuck into our backyard and the other dogs accepted her immediately. We almost didn't notice her because she was so small and the same color scheme as some of our other dogs. We tried to find her a nice home, but she would escape and come back to us. Turns out the neighbor's dog was beating her up.

Hershey is the Pointer. He's a total doofus but an excellent guard dog. Another stray we found wandering around.

Chispa ("Spark") is part Great Dane, she was one of the rescue dogs. Our HORRIBLE neighbors were not feeding their dogs. This was one of the puppies from their litter. She was just bones when we took her away. I've called the city and humane society on our neighbors MANY times and nothing has ever been done. Pisses me off to no end.

Blackie (or Guts) is the old Alpha male German Shepherd. Tough as hell and very obedient. He's from a line of dogs we used to own but have since passed away.

I like your pictures.

I especially like the second to last one where Lolo (?) is approaching Blackie (?) with her head lowered. It shows that he's the one they all look up to.

How old is Chispa? She's so cute!

Hehehe! She's positively loony. I'll give her a milk bone and she'll try to
bury the damn thing. Mona also enjoys climbing everything.

Thank you! That is indeed Lolo approaching Blackie. Since she's still new,
there have been a few minor run-ins (usually around dinner time) between them.
Now I think she knows who's boss.

I believe Chispa is approaching two years old. When she gets excited, she
wags her tail, as dogs tend to do. However, she wags her entire backside
in the process. Hips and all! It's hysterical.

My dog, Tami, would try to bury her bones too. Except she would try to bury them in the house in the carpet! :rollin

Seriously. She would dig on the carpet like it was dirt, put the bone down, and then use her nose the push the "dirt" onto the bone.

Cutest darn thing... :D

D'awww! I love doggies :) I have a mini pomeranian, myself.

My grandma's dog will hide her bones all over the house until she's ready to eat them. It's both cute AND annoying.

Hehehe! Those stories cracked me up. :crackup

Dogs can be so silly sometimes.

For some reason, the pictures in my photo album decided to rearrange
themselves somehow 8O Don't know how that happened, but now everything
is out of order! X| Hope that doesn't cause a bunch of confusion.

Still can't figure out how that happened, because I know I didn't do it.
Ah well.

Tony would be my father's name and he does not own any dogs. :P

It's odd I never mentioned it before, but I consider it one of life's little mysteries.
