well, with all due respect to RalphVboy, i am also posting a "holy grail" update... .

i feel very fortunate to have obtained 2 cels from the original Speed Racer anime. the funny thing is i feel the other cel that doesn't have Speed is actually rarer. So please take a look!

i've also updated from the most recent BWA:
Jubei from Ninja Scroll, probably my last Jubei cel...
Kyoko from Maison Ikkoku, a bride to be

and just for good measure, i've also added:
D v. Meier in VHD, a 5 layer set-up
Derek from Space Battleship Yamato, with matching BG

lastly, a big thank you to Greg for the matching laser for my ein cel in the bebop section.

That's very nice. I only got to see one Maison Ikkoku cel of her as a bride back in my time of looking MI for cels and that one got bid up into the stratosphere on YJ. As you know it comes from episode 96. It's from the second of three closeup scenes with her. This comes from the scene where she's listening to her father-in-law's speech to her.

Oh! It's always cool to see a collector get his Holy Grail. I love yours! I can imagine that cels from the 1960's are pretty rare.

But, actually, my favorite of the update is the wedding Kyouko ( almost called her Kikyo ). She's just gorgeous! The colors in her wedding kimono are subdued (as they're supposed to be), but that fact really helps bring out the color in her eyes and lips. Just beautiful.
