Will I EVER see my money?

Post by jenn-b »

I had three of my biggest auction items - totalling $1500 end with BIN. Fabulous! Wait....they are all from 0 feedback users. And guess what?!?! The users for the all of the items are no longer even registered! How does that happen??? So now, I'm sure that I'm going to be stuck paying all of the fees associated with these items and receiving jack. I've sent an email to Ebay regarding this, but I really don't expect anything positive from this.

I'm sorry to rant, but I'm more than a little pissed right now. WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE??? How cruel and inconsiderate can you be???

You can still get your fees back if you file a non paying bidder. Though, you have to wait like a week before you can even start the process, but finish within 30 days or something like that. Lot of hassle to get a few bucks, so I never started it. Still complaining about the 0 fb bidders...they still have no ban like they do on YJ.

As RX has said, you have to file a non-paying bidder alert and finish the
complaint process. If the person is already no longer registered, you should
be able to get the fees credited back to your account immediately. Normally
it would take longer, as RX has said, but not when the person is already
terminated from eBay.

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles. Don't give up!

Oh NO!!!! X| Jenn that sucks!!!

Like WC said, just file an NPB report. Since they're not registered any more e-bay should credit your account for the fees fairly quickly. If you're feeling....optimistic, you could wait to see if they pay.

On the next go-around you can state that you won't allow 0 feedback users to bid on your items and block their bids if you don't want this to happen again. It won't help you now though :?

*hugs*

I really do wish eBay would allow you to block bidders with 0 feedback.
Or at least require them to email you before bidding. X|

There is a guy who just bid on like 8 of my wedding rings...

I hope he pays!!!

It really sucks when people don't pay. Because Listing fees aren't refundable.

And that's like $10 down the drain for Jenny!

I'm so sorry that this happened.

I've been waiting over 10 days for someone to pay me for a cel I sold, so I know your pain. I sent another invoice to "remind" them and hope they pull through this time. Why in the world do people bid if they can't pay for them at least right away?

Anyway  I hope you can work things out.

Yeah . . . I saw that. X| I threw in a couple of bids, then noticed later that it had been BINed. When I saw that it was a new id, I suspected foul play. :l What kind of jerk does something like that? :?

Anyway, I hope you can get your fees back quickly. *sigh*

Thanks for the support guys. I've filed...we'll see what happens. I just don't understand why someone would do this. But, I do believe that I will relist them tomorrow. :(

What's with the on slaught of non-paying bidders lately? I just had one recently too, although my item wasn't a cel and it definitely didn't total up to $1500. But still, it was a huge hassel. 3 weeks later and I finally got to relist the darn thing. Part of me wants to give those new ebayers and overseas bidder a chance because I have had good dealings, but maybe it's the combination of both that's a bad idea. :? Sorry you had to deal with ebay losers. X|
