I have pie.

Post by kymaera »

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of pielessness,
I will fear no hunger: for thou art with me;
Thy crust and thy filling, they comfort me.
Thou preparest a pietin before me in the presense of mine enemies.
Thou fillest my belly with pie. My gut runneth over.

Yeah, right. Those all have fruit in them. Nothing healthy for kymaera. :roll:

He really likes pecan pie, though. :wink:

I have of late, lost all my mirth. With high hopes and joy, here I march o'er the threshold of Anime Beta seeking that which was promised to me and my people. But alas, I see no pie! Was this naught but a tangle of lies? To have my hope and trust ripped from my bosom and that which I cherish is gone to the wind? My merry reverie is brought to an ungodly halt and fearful, am I, when I look to a world heavily laden with demons and fiends who dance and tease and taunt the pieless. Oh what pestilence! Oh what deceit! How infinite does cruelty lie? When, today, the dark shroud of pielessness was cast over this once joyous township.

And so I stand up and I bellow. I scream and I howl "Give me pie or give me death!"

YUM, pie!

My new favorite: bluegoose.

Had it when I was on the road, in Salina, KS off I 70.

Made with blueberry and gooseberries. Sweet and tart!

LOL HotIce! Great link!

I was in a diner with a friend the other day, just for tea and desert while we caught up with each other.

The pastry cabinet, instead of big pies to be sliced, had individual (if you had two people in you) chocolate cream pies, individual banana cream pies, individual strawberry cheesecakes (ok, so not a pie. Shoot me.), and individual lemon merangue (sp?) pies. Like the joke punchline, the waitress asked what I wanted and I answered, "The middle shelf."
