Small but choice update: CCS OP, MRK

Post by rallihir »

Not a whole lot of cels in this update as good CCS and other CLAMP goodies are getting harder to find, but enjoy a quality cel of Fuu spellcasting and a premium CCS 3rd Season OP cel.

WOW!

As always, your updates just amaze me. I don't think I've seen a more perfect OP Sakura. I love the angle. And, that Fuu -- simply gorgeous. Congrats!!!

I love visiting your gallery becasue everything is so beautiful and Amazing! Like that New Sakura cel, I've never seen a better third op cel! And that fuu is so full of dynamic power, it's a wonderfully composed shot!

I also hate visiting your gallery because I always find myself sitting in a drool puddle after a visit.

I saw them early this morning, but had no time to send feedback ... sorry! They are both lovely as expected, and I agree that there aren't many better OP3 cels out there than the one you nabbed. And Fuu is such a sweetheart until she hunkers down to do magic ... you underestimate her at your risk! I like the way the magic is barely restrained but ready to go to work.

Congratulations again!

Thanks everyone for the comments. The Sakura OP cel is one of the best I have seen in a long time. There will probably be fewer cels to update in the future. Although I think I still have one more part to this update when the EMS packet from Japan finds itself to my door. The availability of cel based animation art is shrinking and the few finds are coming a a substantial price, not to mention only from a few sources. Curiously, all those Japanese collectors seem to be holding on to their cels not selling them as newer anime finds its way to the market. Of course most of that is in the form of genga and douga.

Still as collectors of anime art, we all find something new to collect when one source begins to dry up

And certainly, we'll have to be good caretakers of the art we have.
