What do you do on the weekends? ^_^

Hi everyone! I'm just curious to see what everyone else does on the weekends to have fun or just relax.

I usually don't do much untill later in the day. That's when I turn on Cartoon Network and relax.

I watch Naruto, Zatch Bell, and more later on in the day, Trinity Blood, Bleach, and then Eureka 7.

So, what do you guys do on the weekends (Including Fridays)? What do you watch, where do you go? What do you do to just have fun?!

Shove your friend down the toilet?

Go to a bar?

Stalk someone?

Hit your friend with stuff?

Go super saiyan? :dbz:

Flip random people off?

Dance?

Murder someone (

)?

Hang out with your friends?

Hopefully you don't do this though..... :flasher:

Weekends, weekends... well, until I get a job again, one day blends into another and I can't tell what's going on.

But mostly...
zone out on the net, play with my Ichibuns doll, play with my cels/sketches, play with my husband... :flasher:

Haha! I'm in the same boat as you Aernath. Being currently unemployed myself I tend to just lazy around the house, mess with my cels/sketches, play video games, watch tv, etc. on the weekends. Or stay online when I get the chance to see what my cel friends are up too.

My income can be pretty thin at times, but I try and have some fun when I can. My job leaves me mentally drained after a week, so I often sleep early on Friday nights. On some Fridays, I'll go to the pub with co-workers to wind down after work. Whiskey and pool are a magic combination. On Saturdays, I either hang out with friends from work or play poker on the strip. Sundays usually see me cleaning up the apartment and washing loads of laundry, preparing for the next week. It varies from time to time, but that's usually it.

I go to school for 6 hours on Saturday.. I usually hang out with my boyfriend after that and friends. Sunday.... I sleep and study and hang out with friends and clean. Sometimes I work my 2nd job on Sundays though... bah.

My father has a plane and we usually one day of the weekend to go flying, as the place where it is located is far from our house, it usually takes the whole day to get there, fly and then go back.

I also do the laundry, organize things at home, cook, sleep more (if possible

) listen music, go out to the market or to have a nice latte (or icecream), water my mom's plants at the garden, go to see my mom to the cemetery every weekend, check the boards and cel galleries, and if I'm writing a fic try to write some more.

I work, everyother weekend... the weekends i have off, i'm trying to get overtime for. So yeah. =\ On the days my swing shift gives me off, i usually sleep and rest to catch up on energy. i'm a very boring person.

It looks like some of us are kinda lazy(Me

) and some of us are kinda busy on the weekends. I hope that those of you who have to work so much and don't get much time to enjoy things, will be able to in the near future. I'd really like to see you guys here more.

Maybe you'll get a raise.

Epecilly you Hot Ice, since you work so much. You should definately get one.

Today I have just about nothing to do but make my fan cel, so I'm kinda bored today and will probably be in the RS chat later for a while or posting on here.

Weekends. Your basic middle-aged homeowner suckage.

A million loads of laundry (or at least six). Vacuum the house. Clean the bathrooms. Try to hose down the kitchen. Clean the catboxes. Pay the bills. (4 people and 2 cats in the house... it gets a little "beyond" by the end of a week)

Aside from that I try to do as little as possible. Seriously. I draw, I watch anime, I come hang out here and on the doll board and spend too much money. Shuffle piles of mess in my area of the house. Think of more ways to spend money.

Oh, and nag the 11 year old about whether she has her homework done yet

It's a running gag now. I rise from the bed, get some coffee, and say "Hey EJ! Got your homework done yet?" Just so I can hear "MoOOOOMMMMM!!!"

Friday and Saturday I am usually out of the house, Friday was/is Poker night with my friends and over the next couple of months there are a lot of parties coming up

So I keep myself busy. Sunday I don't do much as I am usually tired. It's God's day.

Hey, I resemble that remark!

Glad you didn't gender specific the sentence Baakay!

Of course my weekends may vary. Like right now I have been making things and packing stuff up for an upcoming show.

Most of the time it's just cleaning, laundry, dishes and some time to kick back and relax. The usual fun!

OT BTW, hope you get better soon Baakay!

Lately, it seems like I've been spending too much of it sleeping. Between
having problems with my knee and the stress level at work being through
the roof, it seems that I'm way too exhausted. Aside from that, I should be
doing the things that I don't have time during the week to do like housework
or running errands...and some times I even do those. I watch some anime
or play video games. Every once in a while, I hang out with one of my
friends such as helping klet in expanding her knowledge of the great anime
shows out there (as well as some really bad ones). Oh..and Sundays, I
usually have a D&D game.

Work

Actually, since I work in a 24/7 business, my 'weekend' is actually Wednesdays and Thursdays. For a long time, my favorite thing to do on those days was to browse through all the old antique shops around town. After I was done with that, I would usually go help my friend run his store downtown. He owns an anime and collectables store, and my charity is usually rewarded in either pizza and Inu Yasha goodies, or sometimes both at the same time ^_~x

If it's one of my more relaxed, don't-want-to-go-out type weekends, I usually just relax with music, draw, re-watch favorite movies and anime, and/or invite friends over just to hang out. If there are any good movies playing, I *love* going out to the movies. Or, I'll try to organise my cels, and try to catch up on all the scanning I'm backed up on.
