More children fun, now for parents!
Continuing on with "what's wrong with america", first we have veteran teachers getting fired for children seeing art, then the banning of the game called "tag", now this: http://abclocal.go.com/wpvi/story?secti ... 3&ft=print
Parents pulling guns out at sporting events because their pwecious angel wasn't allowed to play enough. If you think that not enough game time will ruin your kid, try devoiding your child of a father because he's in jail for threatening people with a loaded firearm in front of 30 kids.

well, my Firefox connection is stupid. I get a blank page when it says done!
*shakes fist*
anyways...I don't think this country has a probably with guns; it has a problem with it's PEOPLE. You know someone isn't all there when they think that's "normal" reactive behavior of an adult.
When did common sense become uncommon?

Sometime in the 20th century.

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

How much do you think very true is? Somewhat. You and I are on the same wavelength, Okuni.

It happened during a game between the Burholme Outlaws and Oxford Circle Raiders on Sunday morning at Burholme Park.
40-year-old Wayne Derkotch is accused of pulling the gun. He was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and reckless endangerment. According to police, Derkotch, a father of a player, started arguing with the coach because his son wasn't playing enough.
Investigators say the argument escalated into a fist fight, then the father allegedly pulled out a loaded 357 magnum after the coach started getting the upper hand in the fight. "We get parents like that all the time. Instead of letting us be the coaches and them be the parents, things happen. They get emotional," said coach Jermaine Wilson, who was allegedly attacked by Derkotch. The incident happened in front of 34 children just 5 to 7 years old, including Wilson's son.
"We're up there for the kids. It's all about the kids. Actually, I feel sorry for the ref. He was just doing his job, protecting the kids," said Wilson.
When the police arrived they witnessed one of the football referee punching the brother of the man with the gun.
"All I heard was 'Gun! Gun!'" said referee Shawn Henderson. "And I looked to the sidelines and saw the two gentlemen fighting and I got all the kids off the field."
Henderson declared the game over, but when he tried to restrain the alleged gunman, he says Derkotch's brother lunged for him.
"The gentleman kept coming at me and he attacked me. I felt attacked," said Henderson. "He was reaching for my throat. He was ready to get me."
But Henderson was the one arrested and charged with simple assault. He now plans to press charges against Derkotch's brother.

It's horrible. A few years back; in Mass.; there was a fist fight between two dads at their kids hockey game. At the end of the fight, one man was taken into custody and the other was dead from a head injury caused by the other man's fist.
These incidents raise so many questions to me.
The biggest is:Why??
They signed the kids up so they can learn a sport. Or so the dads say. The ones that get into the fights and all the trouble, I think they're actually trying to live their own dreams thru the child.
Shameful.
