Yeah, but you can definately see the Japanese animation influence--most American animation is not that detailed.

That's not anime. It's on par with Justice League in the way it was created.
The planning, preproduction and producing were done by Epoch Ink Animation,
who are located in LA. Then it was sent to Korea. It was directed by Kevin Altieri,
who's a director from Batman: TAS. A team of Americans did the storyboarding,
character designs and backgrounds. That type of production process is what
Americans started doing once they stopped using traditional cel animation.

Looks like it was influenced by Anime to me. I could be wrong. And actually, it was directed by Todd McFarlane as well. McFarlane and Altieri have been known to adopt the Anime style into their artwork, as evidenced by Gen 13, certain episodes of Batman, and Spawn. While I agree it is not technically Anime, it is the influence of the medium on this video that is really important.
