Hehe...I am dreading x-mas! No money (only cel money hehe). I might be going to my grandparents in very tiny town in Iowa, always a joy. But what I like to do the most is to stay at home, eat, and curl up with my bf and give him his small gifts ^.^ Being with family and loved ones is what it is all about for me! Although I do love watching my little brother playing his new video games with much enthusiasm.
I am pretty sad that I totally missed out on Halloween this year, so maybe I will try to make up for it with a very exciting x-mas!

Well, I've already done all of my gift shopping and this thread is putting me in the mood to start wrapping them
. I do have to say that the only reason I have my shopping done is that this year I bought school related merchandise at the big fall sale that we have - there won't be another chance before the holidays. Usually some of my shopping for friends waits until somewhat later...like January

There might be others.

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

I just hate it when people are done shopping before the Halloween candy is even gone!!

I have exactly one person taken care of. One. And no, I'm not buying you the life-sized Chii dollfie that's on ebay, Kymaera.
As more or less low-person-on-totem-pole (because I moved to a new dept) I suspect I will be covering the weird non-holiday holiday days at work this year, instead of having a long vacation.
ahh well
worth it to not have to travel!

Good reasoning. There sure is.

I've done about 60% of my Christmas shopping already (I'm always such an early-bird)...and I plan on being done around or on Black Friday (goh!). As all of my sisters are now out of the childhood stage and in the teens or 20's, shopping has gotten a bit harder, but I know what they all like so it's not as hard as it were just to run out to Toys 'R Us and buy them toys.
Now my parents, ooaf that's hard...they've always been tough to decide what to get them.
And for the first time, I'll be spending Christmas with my family and right after heading on a plane (first time in 19 years!!!!) out of state to stay with my fiance's parents...since we'll be getting married real soon they invited me up as well! ^_^ I'm really looking forward to this holiday season, and I might finally see snow again!
