Hey Guys,

Unfortunately you were not allowed to take any pictures but I bought a copy of the exhibition catalog which lists the majority of drawings / paintings (with descriptions by Tezuka). Anyway, I have scanned several pictures from that so if you are interested, please PM me with your email address.

It was amazing. Whilst there was not animation material, it was all manga was unbeleivable . None of Tezuka's original work had even been outside of Japan before and our government paid for it!!!

It went through his early work through to his last piece. Its heading over to the States some time next year, although I don't think it has been 100% confirmed.

Yeah! It's coming to San Francisco(albeit in June 2007). I'm soo looking forward to seeing it.

I'll definetely have to put this in the 'event' calendar for June. I suppose I could head over twice - once to see the exhibit and the other time to pick up some goodies if any of you are interested in purchasing.

Hi again,

If you are really into Tezuka I thoroughly recommend the following publication:

https://apps.ngv.vic.gov.au/shop/shopIt ... itemID=337

The comments from Tezuka and other Manga experts are excellent, as well as a number of great pictures - all of which are direct scans from his art work - therefore they have not been 'touched up'.
