Thinking about getting a phlebotomy certification. I wanted to talk to a phlebotomist.

I had to go look up phlebotomist! It ends up that the job description isn't as bad as I thought it would be! Here's to learning something new! Thanx Not Sir Phobos. I only wish I could help you out...couldn't you call the hospital and make an appointment to talk with one?

If it comes down to it I'll talk to people her in my local community. I just thought it would be nice if someone here on beta was a phlebotomist..

I think you'd be good at that. You have the right combination of gentleness and professionalism. When ever I had to give blood or have blood drawn, the best people were those who were fast and considerate enough to distract me from the process. A good sense of humor really helps!
