What is popular on your RS pop item listing?
Hello,
I apologize if this has been posted before (I could swear it has but cannot find it!) but I was curious to know if anyone notices any trends in the cels that show up on their RS site popular item listing. Do certain cels get a lot of hits for any particular reason? Here are the types of cels I have noticed get the most hits in my listing:
1. Infamous heroine scenes: Serenity from Sailor Moon, Belldandy from the end of the AMG movie etc.
2. Bank cels or famous cels from scenes that everyone desires...I guess that would be an obvious hit attraction
3. Tiny images on cels: Apparently everyone wants to get a closer look ^.^ So they click to find out! Some of my least "popular" cels have tons of hits.
4. Last but not least...Nudity! I think this is really cute. I love my nude cels almost above all others that I own ^.^ I really think it is one of the most interesting and beautiful parts of anime. 8 out of the 50 cels in the popular item listing are fully nude...and I think (if I have counted correctly) I only have 11 nude pieces of art in my collection! Not to mention that the most revealing cels are up at the top of the hit list.
Just some interesting thoughts. Does anyone else have these or other trends?

With my gallery, X-men is wildly popular. And most of my American series. I don't really know why, but the same X-men group cel has been on the top of my list for ages.
Things like bank cels and nudity would make sense, but my X-men cels are nothing spectacular.
Darkstalkers is my other popular series for some reason. Especially Donovan. Must be those earlobes.

It's been the weirdest things.
The top of my list has been there quite some time, and it's becasue it comes up in a google search (I forget what the terms were): Rave Master repro cel of Musica.
It actually has about 200 more hits than my Ranma and Juliet cel.

Second is a Bleach layout that shot up there in about a month, so I'm guessing it comes up in a search too somewhere.
Then my Mirage of Blaze OP rilezu - but at least that incorporates some nudity.
Shirless men. Gotta love 'em.
There are a few Bleach settings, and my two best hankens, then it's just a mix of stained glass and cels after that. No real rhyme or reason that I can see.

My most visited cel is a cel that is of no particular consequence (not an important scene or character) and the cel is missing a layer. O_o Go figure.

The most popular series in my top 50 is definitely Tenshi ni Narumon (currently 17 cels - the highest number ever on the list for that series). It makes sense since we have quite a large collection and a lot of the ones on the list are favorites of ours too. The very top of our list however, has been inexplicably dominated by Tonde Buurin and Cyborg Kuro-chan. The TBs at the top are the 2 cels of Buurin inflating a Burrin suit worn by spoiled-rich-girl Keiko. The top CK-C is a portrait of the title character. I can only assume there are links to these cels somewhere, as they have hundreds more hits than the rest on the list. The remainder of the list is made up of Vampire Hunter D. Bloodlust, Devilman Lady, Mosquiton, Inuyasha, Cyber Team in Akihabara, Mon Colle Knights, Vampire Princess Miyu, Tenchi Movie 3 (our favorite Ryoko), Rayearth (both with Makona), Yu Yu Hakusho, and Sakura Taisen.
Now that's a pretty ecclectic list!
Aernath, I'm surprised the Ichigo Hanken wasn't the top draw.

I know it's a fave of mine!
Kira, any Nii's on the list?

My top 50 is CCS coast-to-coast! There used to be a Miruru from TnN on the list, but a bunch of Syaorans came and overwhelmed her.
They tend to bunch in three specific galleries, suggesting that most of the hits come from people who come specifically to browse cels in these categories:
1. CCS Battle Costumes
2. CCS Clow Cards
3. CCS Syaoran
Oddities: #4 is a nice but (to my eyes) not overwhelming cel of Sakura in her kimono (ready to go to the shrine on New Year's). Snakeskii has a much nicer cel of her from this cut -- but I suppose Kero-chan has a good point: "a kimono makes even Sakura look good!"
#5 is just a partial cel of five cards floating across the screen. But they are the "mystery five" that aren't captured or used in the TV series (one is Arrow, used in the first movie, but the others are indeed mysterious, especially "The Libra," which is never even mentioned). Still, it's a undramatic, cheap (> $10) cel. Go figure. Maybe there's a link to it somewhere on a "guide to the Clow Cards" site that I've never discovered.
To be expected:
#2 and #9 are my "nude banks" of Sakura doing her "Release" ritual without benefit of any costume, battle or otherwise. You have to click on them to see them, as I replaced the thumbnails with red curtains.
#1 is a cel from Ep. 31 (Sakura and the Mysterious Book aka "Dragonslayer") that I know another collector covets and has a link to on his website. (And he might get it too, in time, if he would ever stop bidding against me for Ep. 1 cels on YJ.)
Trends: I've noticed that Clow Card cels are on the sharp rise in the rankings. The only cel that I've gotten so far this year to crack the Top 50 list is a Firey, and the only ones there from my '05 acquisitions are another Firey (a great snag with an original bg) and a Wood Card.
But I love my TnN cels dearly and wish a few of those would pop into the "most visited" rankings.

Most of my top fifty are pretty reasonable: cels I've posted about, or have been in my collection from the beginning, and cels that are alone in their category. I suppose people figure that if they've taken the time to click on a category with only one cel, they might as well click on the thumbnail.
Though just a couple days ago something happened that kind of shocked me . . . a fancel took over the top spot where my Esca pan cel had been comfortably sitting for ever.
I guess that says something about my collection.

My Highest is still a Rilezu from Ai Yori Aoshi then one of my AMG Hankens and an original rough pencil sketch from Chobits.

He's actually seventh, a few hits below this setting of Ichigo:

And the funny thing is, that setting shot up over the hanken, so I think it's been linked somewhere. I had it as my banner for a month, and then it just skyrocketed in hits.

believe it or not....My Sailor Moon pan sketch of her being electricuted is #1 right now on the listing. It beat my Mistress Nine Henshin cel@@
She, M9, was #1 for many eons--now's she's in 2nd place.
The competition for place between Sailor Moon cels, the heroine, and Hotaru cels in my gallery is quite astonishing.
I think the pan sketch became #1 because I found it and several other pieces of my artwork on a Google search entitled "sailor moon art". I was investigating, because I couldn't believe it, and found that something or someone posted the screenshot I had made for the Pan sketch on a search along with the other pieces.
I thought my cels were protected from right-clicking--I was wrong.
