I thought I might get a good price for the hanken on the 'bay, but then I started freaking out about him going to someone I don't know, possibly some place that doesn't have a gallery where I could gaze at him, and basically just started sprialing downwards from there.
Then Steven came along and mentioned seeing the auction.
*ding!*
I'm saved! I could get some money, and be assured he was going to a kind and loving home!

I realized quickly that it's far more important to me that the artwork I've loved, be handed off to another home that will love in return.
I've been watching Steven collect Ichigos and know that he respects the character.
Problem solved! I can bid on the YJ auction, and feel better about my hanken. And actually feel more like I'm getting to share the love, rather than desperately seeking cash for another Ichigo fix.

Oh, and Steven, you're younger than I am. Make sure I have your new address any time you move. *hint* *hint*

(unless, of course, you ever lose that loving feeling for Ichigo
