The New Tokyo Tower

Post by kymaera »

Not sure why they're doing this...it'll just make it more expensive to replace
the next time it gets blown up in a anime series :P

So what's going to happen to the old Tokyo Tower? The article says it's going to be replaced, but that doesn't explain it very well. Will the old one be turned over to a lesser broadcasting service?

How far will the new Tower be from the Old one?

The big question is:

Will anime characters still be able to do anime triangulation thingamabobs the way they did in the X Movie? ?^_^?

One of my students came in with a button on his book bag, and during the class he showed it to me (for some reason I've forgotten) but he told me it was the mascot for the Tokyo Tower. I was very glad he told me, because if he hadn't I'd just have collapsed laughing.

Why?

Because it looks like a penis in a buisness suit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I swear, it had a long, pointed flesh-coloured head and a little buisness suit and a big smile on its face and didn't even have hair to try and break the illusion!!

I swear I'm not making that up!!!!
