weird stalker ... (O.o) ...

since some weeks now I have a strange stalker watching over and over again one and the same sketch ...

... I feel kind of worried ... where will this all end ...

... the counter of this douga is increasing incredible high in the meantime ... is there a goal behind this???

... or is it only

... became paranoid

Well, now we know how to make Zetsuai nervous if we feel like it.

Could be some weird, unbalanced stalker who has fallen in luuuuuuuv with the sketch... or it could be that you're hotlinked somewhere.

It could be coming up some way through a search engine or image search of some type. Who knows? I find it pretty hard to evade those things.

I found that just by using the word "cel" with text somewhere else on the same page that some of my stuff showed up on Google (even though the gallery has nearly always been closed). The ?"Make your own free Rubberslug cel gallery" slogan on the bottom was causing the "cel" to register with the search engine. Fortunately since I donated I was able to eliminate "cel" from showing on the same page with some other text I didn't want it linked up to.

Or someone might have posted it up on a popular message board or something. You never know about these kinds of things.

hm ... I don't know ... the sketch isn't that good ... have much better ones and I remember that I never hotlinked sketches before ...

good ones ... but if that would be the reason, than every of my cels/sketches should show on the search engine, because I discribe every entry the same way and use the word cel in every discribtion ...

There are a lot of yaoi fangirls out there, and a lot of them have sites... and a lot of those use hotlinks. As a collector, you may not think it's the best you own... but there's no accounting for the tastes of others.

I have some items that have high hits but I think it's due to Google image search. That or someone has made your site their homepage!

I do find it kind of odd tho, the items with the highest hits are not necessarily the best. But search engines do have a way of skewing the hits you receive.
