Well, I ended up winning the Mecha/Robot category - "Thank You" to all who voted for it. 8)
Although it was the section that had the least entries, I really didn't think I'd end up winning against Shellie's incredible
pan-cel depicting the "4 Heroes Gone Bad" Gundams (I'm sure the voting was close :sweatdrop).

Again, many thanks go out to Brian and all of those behind-the-scenes for all their hard work setting up these awards,
as well as Krafty for designing the awards and to everyone who didn't have any entries but took the time to vote.
Congratulations to all the winners!

Just a quick shout out to those who sent in offers to help out. Your offer was greatly appreciated! Klet, HotIce, Tex-Chan, Welcome Consumer, kymaera, JuniorMintKiss, Transmet, Kata...if I've left off your name I apologize.

I have a feeling that next year's awards are going to be MUCH better, with many cool entries and categories. To the person/people who take on the project, have fun with it. For the most part, I had a blast. Take care guys!

well, didn't win anything, but then again, I didn't expect to, I guess :). Anyways, thanks for all the hard work and BS&T that went into this BH.

Question - I noticed that some of the other cels were re-arranged (or am I dreaming here?) - are they now ranked by # of votes, or am I just making crap up?

now to start buying for next year.... :)

I think the rearrangement is due in part to placing the winning cels at the top. It ended up shuffling everything else down, depending on where they were originally.

Thanks Brian for handling this affair.

I didn't anticipate on having a black female cat and a white male cat or I would have named them Luna and Artemis... oh well.

You are so sweet for thinking so, Lancemet! :friends: But I voted for yours, because I do think it is the better cel. :) (Another darling friend suggested I submit that particular cel of mine... he said that since there are multiple gundams that perhaps I could win with Quantity over Quality! hahaha! He was right! :D) Because mech cels are my personal favorite to collect, I love this category best. Not because I expect to win anything, but because I just LOVE seeing all the fabulous things that show up there. This year was no exception... WOW I love each of those cels! I wish there were more entries, just for my own selfish enjoyment!!

A big thank you to everyone who submitted a gorgeous mech and to everyone who cast a vote for mine. :friends:

As I was enjoying another wander through the contest entries, one thing struck me: the runner-up in the Feminine category looks a lot like the runner up in the Masculine category! :D I'm sure that my impression might be different if I knew either character, but I just found the similarities striking... especially since they come from categories that are opposites! :)

^ *snickers* Shellie thinks Nakago looks like a girl.

Nakago is the baddie of Fushigi Yuugi. I think the girl is from Chrno Crusade (haven't seen it).
