The form is working fine, but it sometimes results in an error when too many people try to use it at the same time. That is probably what happened.
Please do use the form to email me rather than sending PMs, please -- I'm trying to keep everything in one inbox so I can keep it all straight. As you can imagine, there are a LOT of people involved in all this, and the paperwork is already getting interesting! I'd hate for anyone to lose out because I forgot to check PMs here.
I have responded to all messages and updated the page to remove some things. I do not want to create "bidding wars" but when more than one person offers on a piece at pretty much the same time, I am giving them both (or all three, or whatever) a chance to counter-offer. To keep things in the open and fair, when this happens I list the current high offer on the page. This is only happening on the more popular items, though -- everything else, I'm pretty much accepting offers as they come in, and that's the end of it.
Thanks to everyone who has sent me kind notes along with their offers. I appreciate your understanding and support.

I know what you mean. Teaching can really rack up the bucks, and it's not just buying school supplies. People don't realize what we take on sometimes. buying lunches for kids who can't afford them. Buying backpacks and school supplies for kids. Field trips. Books. Just this year, I've already shelled out close to $1K. Best of luck, Liz!
Time is but an illusion. Lunch time...doubly so.
To be fair, teaching is a choice, and I can't expect the world to change its costly ways for my sake just because I *chose* to do it. But lord, yes, it is more expensive than people think! I'm up to $800 on my kids so far this school year, and the pay isn't exactly swank.
But I get to give something back to the world, and that makes me happier than rolling in money. Even rolling in money so I can buy cels. ^_^ I like to be useful.
Once again, folks, all PMs have been responded to (though please please use my contact form on the sales page). Moving along at a good clip. Thanks to all who have volunteered to send money orders instead of using PayPal. With the amount of money being exchanged in this sale, those fees would cost me well over a few hundred dollars. 0_o

Amen. If you get into the field for money, you're a fool. You gotta love what you do.Lizzard wrote:To be fair, teaching is a choice, and I can't expect the world to change its costly ways for my sake just because I *chose* to do it. OK, everyone, I got a descriptive list up for the Saiyuki sketches. Sorry for the wait on that. I'd have had it done earlier tonight if two crazy girls hadn't kept me up managing a bidding war, LOL! *wags finger, you know who you are!*

It's all right, dear, it was actually rather fun. The commentary you two were giving was hilarious! I felt a bit like a radio dispatcher, though. Glad I was allowed to reveal your identities to each other when it was over.

Thank you, Kira. As it turns out, a bunch of the the ones on the Saiyuki list weren't working because of a capitalization error. Let this be a lesson to all you students -- yes, grammar and spelling matters!
I have now fixed the page and everything should work once more. All offers have been responded to. There are three Fruits Basket sketches left (out of the 20 I had).
