Great pictures! When I saw this thread, I couldn't help but think of the last time I was in Denver (a few years ago). I was on a series of customer visits with a coworker when the blizzard hit, nearly stranding us at the airport. We got two of the last three hotel rooms in the town, but had to wait over three hours outside for shuttles. It was worth it though. We were happy to be stuck in a hotel for 3 days instead of with the thousands in the airport..... especially since the roof collapsed and they had some issues with blankets and food. :( At the time they said this was a once in a generation event for that area. :?

ROFL at Kymeara. We used to have a snowblower, but it finally got tired after 15 years. I hesitated buying another since you rarely used them. And when you do use them you get the fun of cranking them. Now I'm kicking myself for not having one. :bwall I guess on the flip side I'm getting a darn good workout! :)

And today... and probably more to come, as we only have one car-width out the driveway still. :P Shopping was... how to say ... an adventure...

especially at the grocery store, where people didn't quite seem to grasp the concept that if their 4-wheel drives couldn't get through the snow, NEITHER COULD THE BIG OLD 18-WHEEL SUPPLY TRUCKS!! *pant...pant*

Complaining because they didn't have eggs in stock yet.

Here. Have a hen. Squeeze.

:D

And wouldn't you know that we used to have a fabulous big scoop shovel when we lived in Buffalo, NY. The kind with a huge front end and an inverted "U" handle... you could move 5 times as much snow with that puppy as with a regular shovel. It finally gave up the ghost last year and we didn't bother to replace it, because of the light dandruff that usually passes for a snowstorm up here.

Timing is everything ;)

snow? you mean the white cold stuff of making snow men and snow angels?
All great discoveries are made by mistake-the laws of murphy

Then the Dean repeated the mantra that has had such a marked effect on the progress of knowledge through the ages.
'Why don't we just mix up absolutely everything and see what happens?' he said.
And Ridcully responded with the traditional response. "It's got to be worth a try,' he said
