Get well, klet!

Post by kymaera »

Talked briefly with her on the phone at lunch today and she's feeling a bit sick.

Well..not quite that sick, but she did sound like a 40 year old chain smoker
from a cold that she's picked up. Thought I'd throw up a thread so that we
could arrangements for suitable public embara...err...well-wishing so that she
would be motivated to recuperate swiftly :)

Thought I'd throw up
and you thought THAT would make her feel better?? What a thoughtful friend!

:D

Feel better, Klet! Being sick over Christmas is not allowed. Nope nope nope.

Dang you, kymaera.

Thanks for the well-wishes, guys! I'm actually feeling a lot better. :) Was feeling alright yesterday, too. I just had nearly lost my voice. I still need to project a lot just to get it above a whisper, and I've got work in three hours. /wah

I can't really call in because I need the money, plus I feel bad because there's only one person scheduled for my job at once. So, it'd be really hard to replace me. :(

Once again, thanks! I'm trying really hard not to be sick on Christmas. X| When we were kids, I had just gotten over the flu one Christmas, and I had been nice enough to pass it on to my older sister. :P Isn't family wonderful? /heh

I remember when I was in high school, I came down with the flu on
Christmas. And to make matters worse, we had the temperature plunge
overnight and some of the water pipes in our house froze up. Bad enough
being sick without not being able to flush the toilet or bathe. :l

I wouldn't be bothered if I suddenly fell ill, because I haven't had any such illness since Febuary 2002. It was a strange bug... on the fifth day I started to hallucinate- things went from large to small and things in my vision were moving from side to side.

yeah, get beta-soon :)
