Gallery Update: Otakusin: Sinfully Delicious Cels
Hedo Hedo,
First time posting here!!
First of all, yes my nick is otakusin (cough goober nick cough) but there is good reason. It is the hubby's fault, he thinks I am a fanatic in everything I do, so one day he called me otakusin and it stuck. The sin part is for cyn which is short for Cyndi. Oddly many think I am a young kid due to my nick... go figure, lol. Oh yeah please please call me cyn, I will respond to otaku but I do like my name, lol. Hope to meet some fellow collector's here and chit chat about what else... cels!!
Anywho... now that the boring stuff is over I do have some gallery related news. I finally found some true free time and I took the opportunity to catch up on scanning several series/cels. I still have several more cels left to scan but... well no excuse I tired myself out. So until I get a fire lit under my @$$ again please do enjoy the gallery!!

Until next time, cyn

Hi! Welcome to Beta! *waves*
Count me among your many visitors since you opened your gallery on RS. I just can't say enough wonderful things about your gallery and your collection. I love it! I love the variety you have, and I have had the most fun browsing through your TnN cels. It has been a huge treat, being able to see them. I'm so glad you decided to share your cels with the rest of us, and that you wandered on over to Beta, too. I hope you have a great time here!

Welcome to Beta, cyn. Time for the customary Betarian initiation.
First of all, click here!
Then repeat after me.
You are my friend.
I am your friend.
You will say nice things about my updates.
I will trade you nice things from my gallery.
You will tell you about nice things on YJ that I might like.
I will not bid against you on YJ for nice things that you might like.
You are my friend.
I am your friend.
OK? Congratulations, and welcome to Beta. Now, about that nice Tennimon cel of Y + N kissing at the end of Step 26 that you just said you'd trade me ...
Have fun ... here and elsewhere!

Thankies
Everyone: Wow thank you all for the warm welcomes. I am very glad you enjoy the gallery.
Tex-chan: You make me wanna get off my butt and scan more tennimon with your comment here and on slug. I am glad you enjoy them so.
Sensei: LMAO... I got quite a giggle out of your reply and the Maron sketch. I must have had a memory lapse there with the trade. I will get right to packaging it to ship off but I may have another pesky memory lapse and forget to send it. It may take some years to get there once I do, you know how slow the darn postal system is at times, lol. So far no one has to worry about me in YJ, kinda clueless as to how that all works at the moment. Plus, if I know someone really wants something I tend to back off that is unless I do not like the person... mwahahaha!! But if I do bid without knowing how special it may be to another just let me know to back off and I will respect that, with no offense taken.
Thanks again everyone!!
Until next time, cyn

Re: Thankies
Heh. I'm kidding (though the hypnotic Maron trick works enough times with newbies that she's worth a try every so often ... still can't believe I got that Yue/Touya cel for the offer I made ... ) Generally the "You will ..." things are pretty common courtesies among collectors. The "I will ..." things are the kinds of impositions that we all get confronted with, especially the "I will trade you the nice cel you covet ... or else ..." gambit.otakusin wrote: if I know someone really wants something I tend to back off that is unless I do not like the person... mwahahaha!! Happily, at this point, there's still such an embarrassment of riches out there that being cutthroat isn't necessary yet, at least among CCS/Tennemon enthusiasts. So this kind of cooperative bidding/holding back is still pretty common, though I like to say that under 8000 yen we're all enemies. Still, enjoy ... post often ... don't worry about the curmudgeons (or the curmudgeonly moments even the best of us have ... )

I've also visited your site a couple of times on Rubberslug.
You've got a lovely TnN collection.
For some reason, this miscellaneous cel stuck out to me:

I've never seen the series, but I love the intensity and the combination of colors.
