Theorem: The less you know the more you make $$$
The less you know, the more you make.
Proof:
Postulate 1: Knowledge is Power.
Postulate 2: Time is Money.
As every engineer knows: Power = Work / Time
And since Knowledge = Power and Time = Money
It is therefore true that Knowledge = Work / Money .
Solving for Money, we get:
Money = Work / Knowledge
Thus, as Knowledge approaches zero, Money approaches infinity, regardless of the amount of Work done.

My brother after two graphic design degrees now wants to work under my husband. Why? Because he thought once out of college the money would roll in. Needless to say it did not, now he thinks the same if he worked under my husband. Being the youngest he never saw or knew of the struggle other's went through to get where they are, so he tends to be spoiled into thinking that's how it works. Joe (my husband) told him that he could work for him but that he needs to quit thinking that way. He also quoted my Grandfather who like Joe is a hard worker, he said "the mind is stationary the body moves". Of course, I know what the hell he meant but I had to explain it to my brother, lol. He just means that if we ever want to get anywhere in life a person has to stop thinking at some point and put their thoughts into action, degree or not. If you do not put in the time and effort, just expecting things to happen they never will.
I have no clue if what I said makes sense or if it even relates to the topic. I just had a thought reading the post and it somehow went to that. Anywho, all in all I agree... but I tend to see it as my husband does knowledge is power but without time/action you get nowhere with it.

Thank you for your criticism.

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

Otakusin,
The idea today is that, after leaving HIGH school, and attaining your qualifications, you go to college. Before you go to college, you will probably have seen the following films-
American Pie (inc. the sequels)
Van Wilder: Part Laison (sp!?)
- and other films like that. This is your preconceieved idea of higher education. You go into your first degree, and you meet alot of nice people who just want to kick back and get some enjoyment out of life. At the center of things you have the art staff, who's job it is to make you not give a f**k, and manufacture you to be INDIEpendant. This is done by having teachers who are sleeping with students some 21 years younger than themselves, and smoke crack- who cancel morning lectures and seminars without notice.
You become so laid back that the work you are producing seems only to satisfy the marks, and is not something you really enjoy doing. When you are not going out to parties, you are sitting in the house, depressed, drinking and watching TV. This is art college life for four years, then you leave, with a degree, find that the degree is potentialy useless when it comes to entering a proffession, and find yourself signing on for unemployment benefits with the scum of the earth, people who've never given a damn in their whole lives. Suddenly you wish you'd have given the finger to the education system, and just gone to LA to hastle producers with your brilliant ideas/ designs/ script, whatever you thing is
