Do you have a Mobile Phone?

Post by Ronin »

Just wondering really, as I sell phones for a living and it's interesting to know whether anyone else is interested in them at all...or more importantly have enough money to spend on them after buying cels...currently I have two current ones I actually use and I've read a lot of people here, don't actually use them.

I know I'm a bit of a tart when it comes to phones, but ya gotta look smart when you're out...especially considering I sell the bloomin' things.

So does anyone else have a mobile...and do you care about it...or do you literally just need a phone.

I signed on with Sprint the second day they were in Dallas and have been there ever since, but it is a company phone, but it's my company

PS I don't have a land line phone at the house and anytime I am on here I am at my office :?

I just got a new phone shortly before Christmas. I love my phone and tend to baby it so it doesn't get scratched up. I dropped my last phone by accident (Binkie - yes I name my phones :P) and chipped it all up so I swore I'd never do that again. ^_^; I still have Binkie though, he's just kind of non-operational at the moment and living in my dresser drawers. :^^:

Here's my current phone, Envy. Yes, I know I'm so creative since they call the darn thing the Verizon enV.

Ooooooh, some nice phones here already! I looooooooove my cell phone. I got it a year ago, when it hadn't even been released in the U.S. yet. I think Cingular added it to their line last month. It's a Sony Ericsson w810i. No fancy text keyboard thingy like many of the new high-end phones, but I've only sent one text message in my life. :) I just liked it because it's a Walkman and has a 2mp camera. I think it may also be able to stream video, but I've never messed around with that. Meets my needs wonderfully.

My husband and I got matching phones upon returning to the US a few months ago. :D
Perv-chan goes almost nowhere without her Bleach phone!
I'd been meaning to get photos of it for Vampyreshoujo who sent me the stickers that ended up on it. :P
You'll notice yet another thing my 2500 hanken image was used for.
The sticker on the right side here...

Ichigo Cel phone! That's so awesome! Never seen one of those!

I'm saving up for an I-phone!

I'm really impressed with the way it looks!

I've always imagined that phones should look that way!

Batman's got his batphone, I've got the Ichiphone.
No, really. Those are just stickers that Vampyreshoujo sent me a while back, and I found the perfect place for them: on my phone!

Mine's several years old, which means it's basically obsolete ;) It... um... makes phone calls. :D

But my primary reason for getting it was for emergency on-the-road contacts anyway, so it fulfills its primary purpose! Only problem is that it's old enough that it can hold a charge worth a dang...

come to think of it, neither can I ;)

Cell phones currently are a large source of anger with me. I was recently informed that the phone I bought through Mercedes Benz (dealer I work for) is now junk and had to be replaced due to the elimination of the ATT TDMA network.
So my $500.00 phone is now a paperweight and I had to purchase another new phone. :redhot

Side note...
Anyone with cars that have On-star , Teleaid or other in car comunication systems. Most in car systems were analog and will no longer be supported at years end and must be upgraded to a digital system or will no longer work. Of course at a substantial charge.

I have a Motorola Razr V3m - vcast music phone... whatever all that means... it's my first cel phone in about 8 years. Found the cel phone was cheaper than my home phone with longdistance. ATM I'm not impressed with my razr seeing how i'm on my 3rd new phone since november b/c of problems with the battery and charging.

I don't. Which is a bit humorous considering that my job involves designing part of them.

I've had mine for 4.5 years, and it doubles as my home phone too. I'm in no big rush to upgrade since it still serves its purpose. :P
