Question about Inuyasha
Question about Inuyasha
As I can find people from all around the world here I have a question, is the version in spanish of Inuyasha the only one that instead of calling Kagome calls the girl 'Aome'?

If you would like to hear some International Yasha:

It's been a while since I've listened to them but I think they still work.

well, if you spell it like "Kago Me" it's fairly simply to interpret it as "Me Kago". Do you get it now?. At least that's what my little sister who is not much into japanese animation interpreted it when i first told her the name.bulma_gt wrote:The word itself doesn't sound like something else, and Laputa is still called Laputa here
As for the Laputa title, they only had to change the title because the spelling inside is like "Lápiuta", which sounds good enough. It was just the title that led to misunderstanding. Of course more recent releases of the movie have kept the original title.

OMG!!! I never ever thought about Kagome's name like that before
That's absolutely hilarious
Laputa is bad depending on how you say it, where you choose to place emphasis. Also very funny
Sometimes when I'm listening to Japanese music, I interpret some of the lyrics as if they were Spanish, for some reason. The structure of modern Japanese and Spanish music sound very similar to me.
