Great update, as usual, DT!

I love that Ken cel. (Did I just type that out loud? O.o) Such beautiful coloring to it, and what a fantastic, angry expression. Just a gorgeous OVA cel.

I also adore the Loveless sketches. Such a cute, cute shot of Kio.

I have to agree, though. That cel is beautiful.

No wonder AO couldn't place it in Gravitation.

I like the Fuu cel, too. Her eyes are just plain gorgeous.

Uh .... no. I still fall very squarely into the camp of "Ken not likers".

And, I suspect I always will. I've been a WK fan for a long time, and have never been able to like Ken, other than just accepting his character because he's part of Weiss. But, that's quite OK, I suspect. He has tons of fangals out there. More than Aya, from what I've seen in the fanfic world.

But, a beautiful cel is a beautiful cel. Even if it is Ken.

i may have to do a kaitou(sp?)move for that cel. i like the omi cel too.

side note - thought that cel looked familar. went the mandrake section and remembered the link in the hxh thread there. yup, it's the cel that they put up as a gravi cel. knew someone would go after it.

TC - You can have most of the Aya's as long as I can get most of the Ken's. I think that's a pretty fair deal. I only want a few Aya's. I think he's wonderful eye candy but Ken and Omi win out for me due to various reasons, which I think you pretty much already know.

That's the thread I was talking about in my first post.

Hunter x Hunter thread

Since I no longer collect HxH, I skipped right past the thread. AO alerted me to the thread when she saw I updated with that cel. Mandarake had it listed as Gravitation when I KNEW it was from the WK OVA. (I love that scene so much. And yes, I was fooled the first time I watched it.)

When I first bid, he wasn't even labeled. Then they mislabeled him. I was hoping that no one would bid against me since it was mislabeled thinking the Gravitation fans would say it wasn't from there and the WK fans wouldn't look. But as the cel gods love to play their tricks, I had a bit of a bidding war at the end. Doesn't matter though, he's MINE!

Ronin - Thanks so much for checking out my update!

klet - It was Fuu's eyes that made me want the cel so much. And I'm really glad to see another Ken lover here.

RoboFlonne - I'll save any Sasuke I can find.

Although, it still strikes me strange that I just recently sold one with no regrets. I kinda had regrets buying him so . . . And hopefully this week another Sasuke will grace my presence. I received an email yesterday that he's on the way. Oy! I have a problem!

ReiTheJelly - YAY! A Kio fan!

The moment I saw him, those sketches were mine. No second thoughts. He's the character I wanted most but I thought he'd be the hardest to find. I'm so happy when I'm wrong.

Whoop! That sounds like a great deal to me. Because, as you know, Aya & Yohji are "my guys" from that show -- also for various reasons, which you probably know, too.

(Except I thought I was doing a pretty good job in keeping my "Aya luv" a secret.

Ah, that explains it. I have never seen HxH. (I think I must be the only person here who hasn't ...

) And, it is a show I have no desire to collect, since I need to save all my money for Aya cels, anyhow ... *koffkoff*. So, I don't look in that part of the forum very often. No wonder I never saw it. Although I had to laugh when I saw it mentioned that the three of us (you, AO, and me) must not have seen it. My very first reaction upon reading that was: "I would never go for that. It's Ken!"

I guess that shows I'm a Weiss fangal through and through, since I didn't even look at the auction label, but right at the image and knew exactly where it was from.

Anyhow, I promise I'll stop taking up space in your update thread now, DT. Thanks for clearing up my mystery, too. You saved me from my own curiosity. Yay! And, another big congrats on the fabulous update. The Ken cel really is magnificent, and I believe it has found the perfect home in your gallery. That is one of those cels that, in my opinion, was made just for you, my friend.
