I came across this interesting site...so have ago..

Apparently there 54 Andy Freemans in the US and 598 Andrews...and I thought one of me was bad enough!! I dunno how accurate it really is, but it's interesting enough! :)

I'm the ONLY one with my full name. My family name is pretty obscure. :)

I know that I once had to fill out the extended census (in 1990 where the data from the site is drawn), so that's probably why I show up at all. Everyone else here has unusual names and they don't show up at all. I mean, how many people have you met with the first (legal) name of "Gandhi"?

There are 0 people in the U.S. named .
While both names you entered were found in our database, neither was common enough to make it likely that someone in the U.S. has that name.
Wait . . . Does that mean I don't have my name, either?

This program is limited because it currently takes it's info only from the 1990 US census. It may only take into account the name of the person who actually filled out the form. Anyone who doesn't have a common name may not get any results. I know the reason my name is there, because I filled out the extended census in 1990 when I lived in CA.

A good way to see if your name is common is to google it. My daughter's first name is also the name of a lake, a racehorse, a boat, and a weathy old woman in San Francisco.

What fun!!

Although Kay is a fairly common first name, there are only 4 of me in the U.S.

I guess that means I'm out standing ALONE in my field?? :P

Oh even cooler. Although there are only 10 of my hubby (that's a scary thought!) there are 49 EACH of my two girls! I would have guessed that they'd have similar numbers, but that's just downright odd.

There are eight other poor souls with the same name as me!

I had to laugh about their listing the last name as "popular", I know I chose my last name for it's popularity! :P
