When I'm feeling ambitious, ice cream pie. But I can't find a key ingredient anymore so I've been hoarding my precious supply.

Right now my snacking obsession is Little Ceasar's Crazy Bread. They opened one on my side of town and I've been gobbling it up like mad.

Some odd things I've been known to eat:

Mashed potatoes with ketchup and cheese

White bread, folded in half, with ketchup inside

Cream cheese sandwich (I'm allergic to peanuts, so my mom made this as a substitute when I was little. I like it so it stuck. It's especially good when you microwave it so it's warm and creamy)

Was that Edgewater by any chance? Mitsuwa is the best place for all things pocky.

I can't take credit for my favorite strange snack. my husband came up with it. Potato chip sandwiches. The best are Herrs Red Hot potato chips on potato bread with mayonaise. After a few beers they do taste good.

I heard so many good things about the Edgewater market from a coworker who was japanese. Sadly I never had a chance to go there since at the time I did not own car and had NO idea which bus to take to get there. X| The one I went to was a small market in River Edge near Hackensack.

My newest favorite snack is deep fried SPAM. It just gets so golden and crispy it melts my heart.

Yeah, the State Fair in Sacramento, CA had lots of different restaurants offering fried pickles, fried twinkies, among other things....

I think the best thing they offered was a deep fried chicken breast with cheese inbetween two Krispy Kreme donuts.

Just thinking about it gives me a coronary.
