Try this......Take fresh pumkin and cut it up into strips, fry and have pumpkin fries. They are great :D

Oh yessss! Those are tasty! I like those and sweet potato fries as well. Just amazing, especially when sliced super thin.

I -LOVE- pumpkin cookies, with cream cheese frosting is the best! My mom made me some, but they'er all gone now. hehehe. Soooo good. I didnt know pumpkin cookies were different. We had those more often than pumpkin pie growing up. mmmmm pumpkin cookies.

Hmmm, mushrooms with my fish eggs....now that's a salt-lovers dream! I can make a seaweed salad with shrooms, figh eggs, and raw salmon. Dangit I'm hungry now. :roll:

one of my favorite snacks is cinnamon-sugar tortillas.

butter tortilla, warm to melt butter, spinkle (Completely Cover) with cinnamon and sugar, roll and eat.

i also like to top vanilla ice cream with strawberry Quik (powder type only, it feels crunchy in your mouth).

but, i don't think those ideas fit the criteria of weird snacks.

My ancestors ate something similar, it was called lefsa. All the same ingredients except they used large sheets of a flakey dough instead of tortillas.
