i thought i'd let you know that i created a myspace page in case anyone is interested in checking it out. i've got alot of work to do on it--but, it will do for right now.
You're a senior in college, right? Or pretty close to it? Be careful what you put up there. Employers will sometimes search for job candidates on such sites, so make sure your page is professional when you start applying for jobs! You know, no swearing, no mentioning illegal stuff, and that kind of thing. It might be best to hide any other people's comments when you get to that stage, too.
I'd highly recommend removing your contact information from your profile. This is not visible on your actual myspace page, but it's what other members can use to search for you (ie - your real first and last name). I left my information blank, so people cannot look me up without knowing my specific blog URL (which you can see in my signature on Beta). This eliminates employers and even old classmates from high school from looking me up without my knowledge or permission. I also keep my profile and blog entries private, so you have to be approved by me and on my friend list to view my profile.
Also? I know what you mean, wELCOME cONSUMER. I've been there.

1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

I don't have anything on my page that can identify me. No pictures, names, occupation, etc. My kids know that I have a MySpace, but they have not found it. Write a fake name in your profile so they can't do a member search.

Ohh, how sneaky! My boss mentioned having me go through the stack of resumes he has too. Too bad work blocks myspace or else I might have had 'extra' research to do. Heh Heh Heh....

Congrats on joining the rest of us and getting that slightly-addicting area called MySpace!
I agree with Toni. You may want to either delete really personal information or just hide your profile so only that your friends can see it. It is way too easy for anyone to find out information about you, even though you may not mean for it to get out into the wrong hands.

You are all welcome to come visit my page for a bit. My background is one of Magicians fractals. I really like it.
If you come by please check out the videos that I uploaded. The Trinity Blood one was for a friend that wanted to put it on his page, the Kaleido Star one was for the same reason. The Last Exile one is a favorite of mine so I just wanted it out there for people to see.
I didn't make any of the videos.
If you want to add me, please send a message so I know who is trying to add me and that it isn't spam. I don't add everyone. So most add requests get denied right away if I don't know who it is.
Oh yeah, you get to my page by clicking the www button, there is a small link to my RS gallery on my MySpace page. If you just want to go straight to the gallery, click my sig pic.
