I was surprised how they started it.
The scenes where they're looking for Sasuke and finding him. Then Sasuke seeing the Kyuubi are from later in the manga. They kinda skipped several/many chapters. Then jumped back to the beginning.
Not sure why they did that other than to satisfy the Sasuke wishdrawls that some people might have been going through. Overall it was good. A little different than the manga, but they still got it all in. I'm so glad it's back. Gaara is yummy as ever to me. :jump What I look forward to is:
The episode that Sakura tells Naruto that she knows about the Kyuubi and what he's been going through all his life. It's obvious she loves him.

Sounds like I have something to look forward to. I'm still slogging through the fillers, and while some of the episodes are cute(Lee's "Curry of Life" responses and Konohamaru's Pudding Pudding Jutsu were my favorite moments thus far), I'm kinda ready for Naruto to at least learn a new technique. Watching that little kyuubi cutie kage bushin every episode is getting annoying.

But, sadly, I have to admit that the fillers have been useful in character development, in particular, that of Sakura.

It was everything I had hoped it would be. Loved how they jumped ahead at first. I couldn't beleive it. Now my weekly routine finally resumes - manga + anime!!!!!!!!!! .rockon. .rockon. .rockon.

Okay! Judging by my new avatar and sig, it's a fair guess that I watched a few minutes of this. :sweatdrop But I only watched it to give me strength to make it through the rest of the fillers. I can't wait! :bounce

Thank god for the end of the shitty Filler eps..........the one hour special looked fantastic....although even a small fight would have been appreciated....but still good.
