Beany & Cecil?
Boy, that's something I haven't heard of in a long time. I used to watch reruns of that on my black and white TV set. That was probably around 1972-1974 I would think.
I wish I knew when they were rerunning the show in the Los Angeles area so I have an idea of how far back to date my memories.
I also watched Kimba on my black and white TV set, but the details of it have long been lost in my brain.

By now you do not do watch reruns of that on his or her black and white TV set anymore?

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

Nope. You won't hear any prostate jokes from me.
Obviously I don't go as far back as several of the posters here, but I also enjoyed Felix the Cat, Underdog and Rocky and Bullwinkle as a kid.
But I don't think there I would watch too many of those old cartoons on my own today. The vintage Warner Brothers cartoons being one of them.
Some of those old ones were really different from today's standards. I recall those old World War II cartoons they used to broadcast where Daffy Duck was the flyboy hero and Porky Pig was the buck-toothed, thick glasses Japanese villain.

Funny how even I know of those shows. Or at least Underdog, Rocky and Bullwinkle, and Beany & Cecil.
The last two were some of my favorite cartoons as a kid. I guess old school cartoons I would call it. I believe I have my mom to thank for that. I think I started off watching more classic cartoons than the current cartoons of the day.
My generation has the whole nickelodeon shows to reminisce about. Man, those were the days....
