Argh why why why!!!!!!?????

Post by Not Sir Phobos »

Is it bad enough that we can't afford anything right now? We're stretching just to make the regular stupid bill payments. And now both our computers died! It's either the CPU or the motherboard on mine and the hard drive on Marie's. We were so close to getting our taxes done too!

ARGH CRAPPITY CRAP!!!!!!

At least I could sell our generator this weekend for money to fix my PC. But untill then we are backing up as much info off Marie's PC as we can between freezes and hard disc scratch warning prompts. Looks like we're going to lose a lot though.

Awww, NSP!

Good luck in trying to rescue your data. Hopefully, the info loss will be minimal.

Computers may be very handy and make life a little easier, but when the break they send your blood pressure sky rocketing. So I hope you work your problems out soon. If all else fails, hit the computer...works for me :)

Ok the pc held together long enough to finish our taxes. We were up to 12:30 doing it. But it's done

Was this something you planned?

1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

It is all part of God's plan.

LOL! I'm sorry to hear about that NSP, but at least you got the taxes done. I just had to laugh at the bot because he always comes back with such snide comments. 8O

Computers are handy-dandy, but also a big pain in the butt as well. I constantly have to back up my files just to be sure and as a 'just in case.'
