I want Kakigori !!!!

I NEEEEEED Kakigori !!!!!

... I wanna buy a Kakigori maqchine.
But not just ANY one. It has to be the
traditional Penguin shaped one!

...T____T... I've looked all over the net,
even to j-list.

Do you really have to LIVE in Japan to get one?

For those who have no idea what I'm talking about...

No you don't have to live in Japan to have one of those. We got one last year at Mitsuwa. My younger daughter loves it, she calls it snow. I don't know when we'll be going back up there but I can look and see if they have them now or if they are seasonal. It's bloody cold right now and the snack of choice is roasted yams.

God! I had forgotten all about Mitsuwa! I've been there once, and it blew my mind! Checked their mail order website, but it's not there. I'll check again when it's closer to summer. Thaaaaaank you Birdie!!

My favorite japanese ice-shaver was in the anime Kodocha. Sana's mom had the chipmunk on her head shave cups of ice for anyone who visited the house.
