Watched first ep of Saiunkoku Monogatari :D *EDIT*

Post by ZombieBunny »

Heyo all.

Im the first to say, I am still a dork when it comes to Anime.

I have only seen three complete shows throughout all these years.
I am now ready to really start watching more. I have so many on my list it isnt even funny.

Although there is one show that has stuck out to me lately.
Saiunkoku Monogatari :D

Now I really know nothing about this show other than the gorgeous artwork I have seen.
Could someone please help me out here.

1. How many eps are there?
2. Is it available on DvD? Where?
3. If not available on DvD, how can I watch it?
4. Is it a finished show or still in production with new eps?
5. Where can I find artwork?

Any help is very much appriciated. I am dumber than a doornail when it comes to this stuff,
although I wish to start changing that.

Thank you so much

I'm not too good with negative counterfactuals.

There are 39 eps. 33 have been fansubbed so far. I like the fansubs from We Suck, but they take down the torrent as soon as the dvd comes out in Japan.

It has not been licensed in America yet (at least it hasn't been announced), so the torrents are still out there.

There is a new season of the series listed as coming out sometime in April.

The official website:
http://www3.nhk.or.jp/anime/saiunkoku/

Go to the bottom link for the characters.

So I suppose that this series is pretty popular in Japan?

:yay :yay :yay :yay

That is awesome news!! I love the show so much. I'm glad that there is going to be more. I'm glad that something that doesn't follow the "norm" in so much anime today is getting the attention it deserves.

OMG that Office F&O one is driving me nuts. :cucu :nuts :cucu :nuts :cucu

It doesn't have a .jp web address so I can't use my web browser to translate the characters.

And if you hit the English link it only shows Papillon Rose.

In case you might not've found it yet:

Saiunkoku's link is the one right under Hellsing (which is right under Fate/Stay Night which is right under the red kanji).

Here's the direct link too - http://www.officefao.com/sai-yoyaku/index.htm

Thank you so much Vampy!!

This was the only one I found. I just put my cursor over each one while looking at the URL on the bottom of my web browser. I just had to guess on some of them what it would be and sometimes I was way off. But this one says SAIUNKOKU.
http://www.officefao.com/V2-SAIUNKOKU-index.htm

So what's the difference between these two? Do both websites go to different artists to paint? Or do they both get the rilezu from the same place?
Does anyone know if one is better than the other?

It looks like both sites are selling the same images but F&O is cheaper. I wonder which one gets the sketch that matches if both sites are selling the same thing.

I wonder which company did Syans.
